Oh, so I interpretted that teaser you gave wrong. I hadn't considered that it was likely another hallucination meant to mess with Hiei. But it appears to have come from the wrong tormentor. Hm... I'm a little perplexed, but that's good given the present content!

This story has an ominous name. I wonder...

Okay, you know, usually I don't like it when people make Mukuro the villain (she and Kuwabara get bashed *way* too much). But that's usually when she's portrayed as OMG Heie i will punish u 4 not b-ing my lovr and taking (insert whoever's name here) insted!!!1 Ech! Too many of those! Here, though, while she might be portrayed as a little paranoid, her manipulations are from a Machiavellian cause, which is so much more in character. So that's okay.

And we see Phobos! I know basically nothing of the actual god's attributes, so I have no idea if that feed off of fear trait was there before or if that was your invention, but either way I like (oh, that sounds a tad sadistic) how you're portraying his use of it. I think that the earlier part of the second hallucination also proves that (though it was mainly his fears for Yukina) he does under it all care for Kuwabara as well, despite their, ah, *exchanges* and what Kuwabara was saying in the scene before ^__^ I still have a hypothesis over the meaning of your title, but I won't elaborate until later on in case I'm wrong.
