I liked it. Usually I stay away from OC stories, but I like your writing so I came to read. Very nicely done.
I must ask, though, have you ever read the book "Follow My Leader?" Part of your story reminded me of it (in a good way!) and I was curious.

I am shocked that this story has so few reviews. I have only now finished reading chapter two, and I think it's marvelous. Often in a good- allow me to rephrase that, eloquent- piece of writing some small detail will stick out that I take special notice of, and in this case it would be the leaving of the rose as his trade mark. Such a creative little detail, that I don't believe I've ever heard of in any other fic I've ever read. I also applaud your creativity in describing the stars, the nemesis's castle, the stolen artifact . . . as I put it before, eloquent writing. I'm only sad that it is now so late, and I will have to wait till tomorrow to read the rest.
