Disclaimer: I do not own YuYu Hakusho, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
Warning: I know
very little about YuYu Hakusho.
I’ve only watched the first part of the series, up through the Dark Tournament
Saga. Therefore, don’t count on me for knowing much of anything beyond that.
This being the case, let’s say that this particular story takes place during
the time that Team Urameshi was training in
preparation for the Dark Tournament.
Second Warning:
This is my first fan fiction. Ever. Ergo, this is also
my first lemon, and my first yaoi pairing. Have pity
on me, please. And I tried really hard to keep them in character for this. I
don’t know if I was successful, but I hope I was. Of course, I think this
entire situation is out of character for them, but I wrote it so I have so
space to complain.
Enjoy.
Thunder Kiss ‘90
“Tch.” Kurama lifted his
face to peer at the overcast sky as the first drops of rain began to fall on
the dirt around him. “I guess I’m done with training for today…”
He glanced around, contemplating
where the closest refuge from the weather would be. The bamboo forest around
him looked the same in all directions, but his directional sense was unfailing.
It was summer and the storms were notoriously bad at this time of year. That
being the case, it was best if he waited this one out in a place with some
privacy as well for particular reasons that he was damned if he’d ever admit to
any his friends or acquaintances. So far he’d even managed to keep his mother
from suspecting anything, which was a feat in and of itself.
He was currently on the mountain slopes surrounding Genkai’s home, in the same forest where Kuwabara
had stubbornly trained with both Hiei and himself. Kuwabara had recently dragged himself off, presumably to go
home to be patched up and rest until tomorrow.
Kurama had been left to his own devices after Kuwabara’s departure, and had elected to do a little solo
training, to sharpen his skills and continue to condition his body. As of late,
he’d been particularly focusing on increasing his speed, having been fairly
impressed by Hiei’s quickness in their last few
fights. Speaking of Hiei, he had disappeared as soon
as Kurama had appeared to take over the orange haired
teenager’s ‘toughening-up’ practice. Kurama was
secretly quite relieved that Kuwabara was taking this
step of his own will; otherwise something would have had to be done to prevent
him from accompanying the team to the tournament.
“Well, effort counts for something,
but I wonder if he really will be ready for the kinds of foes we’ll undoubtedly
face?” Kurama murmured to himself
as he set off uphill, towards a place where he recalled there being a shallow
cave that would serve to keep the rain off. He felt his step quicken as the
faintest bit of electrical heaviness started to pervade the air around him.
Over the years, he’d learned well to mark the signs of a thunderstorm rolling
in.
The leaves over his head were
catching most of the raindrops before they hit the ground, but a true downpour
was due to start at any moment. He picked up his pace a little more, finally sprinting
across the small clearing that surrounded the entrance to the cave once it came
into sight. He sighed in relief as he paused to look behind him at the think
curtain of water now falling from the sky, using his hands to brush off as much
moisture as he could from his clothes. Luckily, he hadn’t gotten too damp and
so his wait would be slightly less uncomfortable.
Or perhaps not.
He became aware of a gaze fixed upon his person from deeper in the cave, and
the ki
surrounding him wasn’t strictly friendly. He whirled around to find out who he
had accidentally stumbled onto, hoping that it wasn’t another misguided martial
artist out to steal Genkai’s techniques. He felt
foolish as he instantly recognized Hiei, perched in
the darkness upon a convenient boulder towards on side of the cave. He should
have been able to determine his identity right away just from the familiar feel
of his ki. Hiei had obviously been there in the cave for a little
while, perhaps since he had left Kuwabara in Kurama’s capable hands.
The smaller demon continued staring
at him for a moment before speaking. “I’m surprised at you. Does
training that fool human really take so much effort that you allow your defense
and observation skills to slip this far?”
“Hardly.” Kurama answered as coolly as he could, irritated by the
slight quavering he detected in his own voice. In his mind, he knew exactly
what the problem was and exactly how to deal with it, though he had no
intentions of doing so. In the distance he could already detect the echoes of
thunderclaps with his demonic hearing, setting him even more on edge. He was
also frantically trying to devise a plan to either eject Hiei
from his refuge, or to find some plausible excuse for leaving himself. In the
meantime he busied himself with continuing to wipe the water from his clothes,
though it was unlikely that he was going to get any drier by this method.
Hiei was
still staring, and Kurama felt his temper flare
slightly. He squelched his emotions as quickly as they came, keeping up his
calm and disaffected front. It was obvious that Hiei
already suspected something, but there was no way a truthful explanation was
going to pass Kurama’s lips. The thunder was getting
louder, to the point that an average human would be able to hear it, and the
sky outside the cave entrance was starting to flicker with lightning. Despite
his best attempts, Kurama felt himself starting to
lose the battle against his own body. Every nerve felt like someone was holding
a match only millimeters away from it. Soon, that match would make contact,
lighting a fuse that led to impulses Kurama fought
desperately to restrain.
Foxes, being tricksters of both the
human and demon realms, were always ready to rejoice in chaos. In as far as the
natural world was concerned one of the few common yet chaotic events that could
be frequently enjoyed was a powerful thunderstorm.
Over the centuries, such storms had gained greater meaning, becoming times when
foxes emerged from their dens to immerse themselves in the anarchy. And of
course, one thing inevitably led to another when a group of foxes got together…
Kurama had been a fox for so long that such
situations were not only second nature, they were instinctive. And he had never
realized how perplexing and irritating such and instinct could be until he was
trapped in this human form. It had been fine so long as his powers were so
strongly sealed as a youngster, but the last few years had been trying ones,
especially during monsoon season.
He shook his head, trying to
continue his earlier lines of thought. He had to find a way to get away from Hiei before the storm was on top of them. Frustration rose
as his normally calm tactician’s mind came up completely blank. It was becoming
increasingly hard to just keep from trembling outright.
Maybe
it won’t be so bad, staying here. Just this time… Something deep in his mind
whispered to him, causing him to start in surprise. Stay here? With Hiei? Where had that come
from? And why did that inner voice sound so familiar, like a certain long imprisoned
Yoko?
And speaking of Hiei,
the black clad fire demon had his head cocked to one side something like a
curious dog as he watched his friend apparently losing his senses. He was still
staring, obviously concerned in whatever way that he could be without betraying
his cool exterior.
“It doesn’t do me any good if you
lose your mind before the tournament even begins.” He broke the silence after
watching Kurama twitch for a few minutes. He
lightning was getting closer.
“Lose my mind?” Kurama
felt a short laugh ripped free from his chest. Yes, that’s what this was,
wasn’t it? He laughed again, the sound being more like the bark of the fox that
was his true form than any human noise. Hiei sat up
straighter on his rock, his defenses going up. Kurama
could feel the change in the flow of his ki. He could feel the vibration
of the rain pelting the ground. He could feel the flow of the damp wind over
the bare skin of his face and hands.
The air… the feel of it was
soothing. It was much better than the rough texture of his jacket. Kurama, with one quick motion, pulled the garment off over
his head, tossing it onto the ground at his feet as his gaze focused on the small
patch of steely gray sky that was visible through the entrance. He sucked in a
deep breath as the whole sky abruptly turned white, the flash from a lightning
strike washing out all other colors.
Hiei was
abruptly standing beside him. Kurama wasn’t sure if
he had used his incredible speed to affect such an appearance, or if Kurama had been just too distracted to notice his movement.
Hiei peered out into the storm, apparently searching
for something.
“Hmm. I see
nothing. I thought with that gasp of yours just now that an enemy was bearing
down on us, but apparently that is not the case.”
Kurama
turned his head to stare at his companion for a moment, wondering if this was
some strange attempt at humor. No, Hiei looked deadly
serious, as usual. Hiei turned to look up at Kurama, and the instant their eyes met Kurama
felt a tiny jolt, as if the offspring of one of those great lightning bolts
outside and wandered in and shocked him. He turned away quickly, hoping that Hiei hadn’t noticed anything, and wondering himself why he
had felt such a sensation.
Kurama
lifted one hand to his face, covering his eyes as he struggled with himself.
Maybe he had denied it too long, this time. Here in this human body, he had
convinced himself that surely the sensations would be dulled, just as his youki and other powers were. But here and now, with Hiei, completely oblivious to the nature of the situation
for once, at his side it was becoming apparent that this was not going to be
the case. Actually, he couldn’t recall feeling quite this tense before.
And certainly he wasn’t contemplating something like that. Surely not.
He felt his temperature rise, and was sure that his face was turning a color to
mirror that of his hair.
Clamping his jaws together with effort, he felt the next
thunderbolt coming before its pure white light penetrated both his eyelids and
the hand covering them. His deep throated growl was lost in the massive peal of
thunder that followed immediately after. He hadn’t run away quickly enough, and
now the storm was right on top of them. Them. Hiei was here, with him,
witnessing this.
Dropping his hand from his face, Kurama
reopened his eyes. Hiei was still right next to him,
only a foot or two away. Once his eyes fell upon the other demon, he came to an
instantaneous decision, with no second thoughts. His hands moved faster than he
thought they ever could, but it still felt like everything was happening in
slow motion. His left hand gripped Hiei’s shoulder
before the smaller demon could react, spinning him around so that Kurama’s free hand could grasp his other shoulder. There
was a moment of pause as the immobilized Hiei came
face to face with the now slightly panting Kurama.
“What the hell are you doing?!” He spat viciously, taken by
surprise and not appreciating it. One hand started moving for the sword at his
hip, but Kurama’s fingers clamped down, paralyzing
his arm in mid motion. His head whipped over to stare at Kurama’s
death grip in wide eyed surprise, and then turned back to glare directly into
the fox youkai’s eyes. Something he saw there made
even the indomitable Hiei freeze in place.
Their eyes locked, red meeting green,
and Kurama slowly forced himself to relax his
fingers. Hiei could easily shake off his grip now,
but for some reason he wasn’t moving and inch. He was just staring, the first
signs of true confusion beginning to flicker across his face. Give him a moment… a moment more… he’ll
figure it out… The inner voice whispered once again, sounding almost giddy
with the prospect.
It was that same voice, the one that whispered all these
unthinkable but oh so attractive ideas to Kurama’s
burning brain. The prickling sensation was beginning to run across his skin
again. Another bolt of lightning was about to make an appearance. He waited,
the sensation growing stronger as that moment neared. Hiei
still didn’t move. Not even when the lighting fell, catching a tree somewhere
in the forest nearby, splitting it with a sharp crack. Not even when Kurama moved with
that same quickness as before to bring his face down, pressing his lips firmly
against Hiei’s before the light from the bolt had
faded. His hands, still resting on his companion’s shoulders, were now used to
push him back against the stone wall that was a short distance behind him.
Surprisingly, Hiei didn’t fight this action, didn’t
try to pull away or throw Kurama off though he was most
likely still capable.
His back against the wall, Hiei
couldn’t move as Kurama moved closer, pressing the
length of his body against the fire demon’s while never losing contact with his
lips. He growled again, the sound seeming to emanate from his entire body as he
felt the overall tingling sensation beginning to coalesce into something more
substantial. And in a very particular part of his anatomy, as well. The pressure
of his body against Hiei’s was causing a hardness to
develop in the region of his groin, and there was no way that Hiei was unaware of this fact.
Kurama became aware that Hiei
was now starting up push back against his assault, but not in the way he’d expected.
Instead, he shifted under Kurama, throwing the
restraining hands off of his shoulders so that his own fingers could move up to
grasp the fox demon’s face, holding it even tighter against his own. Kurama didn’t hesitate to respond, opening his lips to
admit Hiei’s tongue while putting his now unoccupied
hands to other uses. He was also vaguely aware of signs of arousal becoming
apparent in Hiei’s body as well.
One hand settled on Hiei’s hip,
stabilizing his position. Meanwhile, the other hand worked its way under Hiei’s tunic, encountering the slightly rough texture of
the sleeveless shirt he traditionally wore underneath. As Kurama’s
fingers closed on the material, solidifying their grip, he felt Hiei’s lips twist into a smile against his own. Shifting
back slightly, he pulled his face away for a moment and found Hiei grinning at him rather diabolically.
“Hmph. And I was thinking I was going to have
to go and find some moron to kill to work off my tension. But I think this will
suffice, and save me the effort of an unsatisfying battle.”
“How… convenient… for you.” Kurama
managed with a small smile of his own. His senses were starting to return to
him now that some action had been taken. His hand was at work pulling Hiei’s shirt out of the waistband of his pants while his
head tilted to one side, moving in closer once again. His lips found the
smaller demon’s throat just under his jawbone, and Kurama
began working his way downward along his neck.
Hiei’s
hands had left Kurama’s face, being instead put to
use in ripping the undershirt Kurama wore open down
the front. This was indeed an expeditious way of removing his clothing, but Kurama was somewhat thankful that he at least still had his
jacket to wear for later. Speaking of which…
He wrapped his arm around Hiei’s waist for a moment to pull him away from the wall,
pulling the tunic and shirt off over his head at the same time. These were
discarded, and the remains of his own shirt hastily
shrugged off. Before Hiei could switch his attention
to the fox’s remaining clothing and presumably damage it in some way or
another, Kurama took a step back, undid his own belt
and allowed his pants to slide off of his hips. They were the one item of
clothing that was absolutely necessary for walking home at the end of the day,
after all.
Now clad only in his boxers, he took
a second to notice that Hiei had stripped himself
down to nothing while Kurama had been momentarily distracted.
His demonic speed had more uses than simply for battle, it seemed. And
furthermore it seemed that Hiei had some experience
in this particular usage of his skills, from the looks of his efficiently
folded clothing. Well, that was probably to be expected. Neither one of them
was as young as they looked, after all. Not in terms of years of experience, at
any rate.
Knowing Hiei,
he would probably try to take control of the situation right about now as well.
Indeed, the fire demon moved forward quickly, getting Kurama
down on the ground by means of taking his feet out from under him with a combination
of a sweeping kick to his ankles and a solid grasp on both of his upper arms.
“Ouch!” Kurama
was slightly winded by the unexpected attack, and glared up at his partner, who
was now sitting on top of him. “We aren’t sparring here, Hiei!”
“You were going too slowly. I simply
wanted to move things along, and this was the most expeditious means to do so.”
He replied calmly before leaning down to press his lips against Kurama’s once again.
“You’re taking all the fun out of
it.” The fox demon growled as soon as his mouth was free. “And haven’t you ever
heard of foreplay?”
“Yes.” Came
the short reply. Kurama rolled his eyes, but decided
that talking any more was pointless. Besides, there were more important things
to be done here. His own body was in agreement with Hiei
about the slow pace, for one thing. Hiei was still
straddling his chest, but was working his way downward as well. He had moved on
from Kurama’s lips to his neck, and from there was
making steady progress with his lips towards the chest region. His hands were
still gripping Kurama’s upper arms, holding him in
place.
Kurama
allowed this restraint for now. Instead he took the time to enjoy the
sensations and to observe Hiei at work. His eyes were
slitted, just barely open as his mouth roved over the
muscles of Kurama’s chest. He released Kurama’s arms to brace himself on the floor, lifting
himself up to be able to move even lower. Kurama
allowed his as well, as Hiei settled onto his legs
where he had access to his stomach and groin as well. At this point, Kurama’s boxers went the way of his recently departed
shirt, once again making Kurama glad that he had
saved his pants and jacket from such punishment. Now completely in the nude,
his erection was exposed to Hiei’s ministrations,
whatever form they came in.
Kurama
jumped slightly as a hand closed around his erect shaft, gripping it firmly
while Hiei continued his work his tongue. Kurama’s eyes closed as he concentrated on the sensations
inspired by the double assault, mostly on the sensation of Hiei’s
hand, which had begun a slight, slow rhythm of movement. He gritted his teeth
against the desire to completely give in to the feeling and finish off right
there and then. His own sense of pride worked to fight it off however, giving
him the presence of mind to reassert himself. Who was the one who had started
all this, after all? There was no way he was going to simply lay back and let Hiei have his way, despite the smaller demon’s near
constant need to exert some sort of dominance over those around him. Besides,
his own body was calling for a very specific kind of release, and letting Hiei have his way wasn’t going to let Kurama
achieve that goal.
The sensation was becoming
unbearable, and Kurama knew that Hiei
was undoubtedly exquisitely enjoying his sense of control. Let that distract him, then. Kurama’s
hips had taken up a minor thrusting motion, in time with the movement of Hiei’s hand, and now Kurama used
that to overpower his unsuspecting companion. With one solid jerk, he twisted
out of Hiei’s grip and maneuvered from under him,
quickly flipping over to pounce on Hiei’s back.
He wrapped his arms around Hiei’s chest, holding him in place for a moment and rolling
the pair over onto their sides. Hiei tensed and
squirmed for a moment, caught up in the unexpected embrace, but he stilled
after a few seconds. Instead, he turned his head to one side to glare at Kurama out of the corner of his eye. “What do you think
you’re doing?”
“Evening the score.
Let’s make this a fair fight, shall we?” Kurama raised
one eyebrow, meeting Hiei’s gaze easily. “And I still
owed you for throwing me around a minute ago.”
Hiei
growled irritably at the loss of control, but the sound quickly changed to a
rumble of pleasure as Kurama’s hand found his member
and began stroking it in a replay of Hiei’s own
actions a minute before. Kurama shivered as Hiei began moving against him, the sensation increasing his
own state of arousal. Sweat from his increased body temperature and their activity
was starting to make both of their bodies somewhat slick, which only increased
the
Not releasing his hold on Hiei’s shaft, Kurama repositioned
himself. Timing his entry with one of his strokes on Hiei,
the penetration was quick and deep. This drew another growl out of Hiei as the fire demon tensed at the unexpected invasion.
Belatedly Kurama hoped that it hadn’t been painful,
but Hiei wiped the thought from his mind as quickly
as it came by resuming the motion of his hips, now caught between Kurama’s groin and his hand. Obviously he was ready and
willing to continue this way.
Kurama
arched his back and began thrusting into Hiei,
squeezing his eyes closed in concentration. He continued his attentions to Hiei’s member as well, though both actions were becoming
somewhat disjointed as he was forced to split his attention between the two. He
felt himself quickly nearing the end, proof that he’d managed to squeeze some
foreplay in after all. That, in combination with many years of denial, was
bringing everything to a climax somewhat earlier than he really wanted. He
tried slowing his movements, attempting to draw out the sensation, but Hiei was having nothing of it. The fire demon increased his
own movements to make up for Kurama, not allowing him
to buy any more time. He should have figured Hiei for
one who liked to finish quickly…
Giving in to the inevitable, Kurama continued his motions, each one bringing him one
step closer to the peak. After a few more thrusts, his muscles clenched and he
froze, caught up in the ecstasy of his own orgasm. For some reason it was far
better than those he recalled those from the past, and he momentarily wondered
if there might be some perks to living in a human body like this.
Even as Kurama’s
motions stopped, Hiei kept up his own, one hand being
used to steady Kurama’s grip around his member as he
sought his own release. It was short in coming, and Kurama
felt Hiei jerk and tremble against him.
They both lay motionless for a few
moments trying to catch their breaths. Kurama
withdrew from Hiei and released his grip, rolling
onto his back and closing his eyes. His sensitive ears picked up the sounds of Hiei rolling over beside him, and he soon felt a gaze upon
him. “It’s too late to start complaining.” He reminded the other, but ruing his
words almost as soon as they left his mouth. The potential for regret was the
one reason he had abstained for so long. Opening his eyes to give him a
sideways glance, he tried to gauge Hiei’s expression.
“Complain? No. Hardly.”
Hiei snorted in dismissal of the idea, much to Kurama’s immediate relief. “I will let you know, however,
that things will be quite different next time.”
Kurama
picked up on his meaning instantly, drawing a smile from his lips. Hiei hadn’t liked being taken advantage of, just as he’d
suspected. But then his mind computed the slightly deeper insinuation of the
words. “Next time? Should I be watching my back,
then?”
“You should always watch your back.
You never know when an enemy will try to take advantage of your lack of
attentiveness.” Hiei answered in all seriousness,
causing Kurama to burst out laughing. He rose up on
one elbow to fix Kurama with a stern red-eyed gaze.
“Surprise attacks are not a laughing matter.”
“I’ll keep that in mind.” Kurama continued to snicker, also trying to determine if Hiei was being serious or if his strange sense of humor was
coming to the front here.
“In any event,” Hiei
continued, nonplussed by Kurama’s levity, “My attacks won’t be surprises. You will
definitely see them coming, fox. And I dare you to avoid them.”
“Hmmm. I
see. A challenge.” Kurama
purred, having the pleasure of seeing Hiei sit up a
bit straighter in response to the sound. “I love challenges. And this storm
isn’t quite over yet, you know.”
As if responding to Kurama’s statement, a roll of thunder echoed in the
distance, and the flicker of distant lightning briefly lit up the darkness
around the pair. Kurama felt the soft tingling
sensation brought on by his body’s response to the storm wash over him once
again. He knew Hiei was watching as he shivered in
response to the feeling, closing his eyes once again. Perhaps, just to give
them an even starting score, he wouldn’t try to evade this first attack, as Hiei had put it. He’d make him try harder next time. And the time after that, maybe…
In conclusion:
I am a pervert. A SUPER PERVERT! Revel in my glory, and may the blessings of Chthulu fall upon ye.
