A/N: Hey all! Well
my husband has just been ordered to stay out to sea for an additional 5 months
(he�s in the Navy for all those that didn�t know) so that means that it will be
an entire year before I get to see him since he was shipout.out. ::Wails:: I miss him
sooooo much!

However, the good news for
all of you is that I�m bored and haven�t gotten any since new years day. What does that mean you ask? It means a whole lot of lemons out of this
little author. I mean as I�ve stated
before in other a/n�s this is the closest to actual sex I ever get while my
hubby�s gone.

Summary: Youko Kurama and his second in command Yomi have
just infiltrated a palace rumored to contain incredible treasures within. However, after encountering a few problems
they find themselves locked in a dungeon with no hope of escaping alive. Fate works in mysterious ways� how in the
world can a pair of curious young blue eyes possibly be their only way out?

Chapter One: Cold Blue Eyes

�He really laid into you
tonight didn�t he?� the old medicine woman asked as she cleaned the blood from
between the little girl�s thighs. �You
shouldn�t fight him� it won�t get you anything but pain.�

The little girl lay in a
boneless heap on top of an old table, her short pale legs spread wide as the
medicine woman began applying a stinging salve on her vagina. The pain had no affect on the girl�s comatose
state though. Normally sky blue eyes
were dull as she stared at the ceiling.
Her dark lustrous black hair was tangled and matted with blood. Pale skin that shone like moonlight, was
littered with dark bruises of hands that treated such a gentle frame too
roughly. The only sign of life was the
soft rise and fall of her chest.

�Nika chan� at this rate you
won�t survive the year.�

Nika opened her dry mouth and
croaked out, �That�s what you said last year baa chan.�

The old white haired hag gave
her a toothless grin as she closed the child�s legs and pulled a sheet over her
naked body. �I did didn�t I? I�m glad I was wrong.�

Nika blinked her eyes, their
mischievous twinkle returning as she turned to look at her baa chan with an
arrogant smirk. �Did you see what I did
to him?�

Baa chan frowned at Nika and
tugged a lock of the girl�s long wavy ebony hair.

�Ouch! What was that for?!� Cried Nika as she sat up
and began to rub her abused scalp.

�For breaking the master�s nose, that�s what it�s for! What were you thinking running away from him
like that! He owns you! He owns all of us; we have no right to refuse
him anything! If we refuse, he kills us! I don�t want my little Nika chan to
die�� The old woman started to cry and
pulled Nika into a tight embrace.
