General A/N: I don�t own the characters or show. I�m bad at editing, if I do it at all, so there will most likely be errors. I�m updating chapter by chapter so I�m not sure how often I�ll update, but I�ll try to make it soon. And lastly this story is told by Hiei�s POV.

Part 10: Acceptance

I�ve been thinking all day about what Yusuke said. I still have a wanting to see him dead with my katana sticking out of his chest for talking to my fox like that. But maybe Kurama�s right. Yusuke does have t het head when he gets angry. Perhaps after he has calmed down a little he will allow me and Kurama to talk to him and explain things.

I know Kurama values his friendship with Yusuke and Kuwabara. Why is a good question. I could care less what they think about me. But they have stopped talking to him, therefore I must find a way to get them to understand.

But right now all that�s on my mind is this beautiful fox beside me. We came back to his house after the encounter with theers.ers. He got a phone call from his mother saying she wouldn�t be back for another couple of days. I�m glad. I want to be with him for a while longer before having to start sneaking around his mother to see him.

That soft head of hair is in my lap as we watch some television. But I don�t think either of us is really paying any attention to it. We are both deep in thought. But we are both distracted as a knock comes from the door.

Kurama groans as he gets up and walks foo foot over toward the door. I watch closely. I swear if either of those bakas dare come near my fox I won�t hesitate to kill both of them.

But as the door opens we are greeted with the site of Touya and Jin, who is wearing a black bandana to hide his horn. It�s weird seeing them in ningen clothing of jeans and shirts.

�Hey Kurama! We just came from Yusuke�s. He was mumbling something about Hiei being evil. Is that tr�� Touya stops speaking when he sees me on the couch looking at him. �Oh, hey Hiei.�

�Come in.� Kurama shuts the door after them and motions for them to have a seat in the living room. Jin sits in one of the big chairs while Touya sits between his legs on the floor, which really doesn�t surprise me.

�So what was Yusuke talking about?� Touya looks from me to Kurama.

�Yusuke didn�t give us anytime to explain.� Kurama takes a seat on the couch by me. He looks over at me. �Hiei maybe you should tell them.�

Why not? �I�m a vampire.� That wasn�t hard. I guess I don�t care what they think either.

They both just look at me for a moment before Jin speaks. �An ire ire ata tu?� What? This is why I don�t like talking to him, I have no idea what he says half the time! Touya swats his leg and he chuckles. �Sorry �bout that. I said are you serious?�

�Yes.� They continue to stare.

�So because you�re a vampire Yusuke doesn�t like you anymore?� Touya looks very confused.

�No. Yusuke saw Hiei feeding off a ningen and got the wrong idea. He didn�t give us time to even explain that Hiei is a vampire. He just went straight to �Hiei killed a ningen, therefore he must be evil.�� Kurama rolled his eyes as he said the last part. �What do you guys think of this?�

�I can�t believe Hiei killed a ningen and you�re okay with it.� Touya�s eyes were almost as big as Kurama�s were naturally.

�Hiei explained to me that he only feeds off the bad ningens. The ones that have done wrong and the police haven�t gotten them. So I�m okay with it.�

It was quite for a few moments as the other two demons think about what has been said. �Cen aois ata tu?� There he goes again.

I just stare at Jin until Touya speaks. �He asked how old are you?� Oh.

�Not over a hundred.� They both nod their heads as they look at me. What? Have I grown a second nose or something?

�So you two are okay with this?� Kurama looked at each demon.

�I am.� Touya looks over his shoulder at his lover.

�I say nar lagai Dia thu (1)!� Both demons give a little chuckle. Whatever. I just roll my eyes and let out a little growl.

Kurama puts his hand on my thigh and squeezes. �Be nice Hiei.�

�Wow. Wait a second. Is there something else you two want to say to us?� Touya asks as his eyebrows lift up and down.

I smirk and bring my hand up to tangle in Kurama�s hair as I pull him down and kiss him roughly before letting him go. I look back over at the two demons to see wide-eyed shocked looks.

�You two together are ya now?� Jin grins as he bends and wraps his arms around Touya. �Ain�t love great!� Touya just blushes and playful slaps at Jin�s hands.

Kurama grins and leans his head on my shoulder. �I�m glad you two are so calm about all this.�

�That�s what friends are for.� Touya winks at us.

�Hey, ya got any food?� I just k ask as Kurama shakes his head and sits up on the edge of the couch.

�Sorry Jin. I don�t think I do. What do you say we order in some pizza?�

�Yeah. I want pepperoni.� Jin grins at Kurama as he gets up and heads into the kitchen to use the phone. Great now I�m stuck in here with these two alone.

�Who made the first move?� Does Jin even think before he speaks?

�Drothan (2), why don�t you behave!� Touya pushed Jin back in the chair. �Sorry about that Hiei. You know him.�

�Hn.�

�What�s that suppose to mean, mo milis cloimhein (3)? You know ya love me.� He tickled Touya behind the ear. Okay this is a little too much, where is Kurama?

�Pizza will be here in about thirty.� Kurama comes in and sits beside me again. I kiss his check as he sits back. �What was that for?� He looks at me.

I shrug my shoulders. �Just wanted to.� He grins.

�Ababuna (4)! Get a room ya two.� Jin laughs.
