What would you think if you found out that your enemy could be your
friend and more?
What would be, if your friends were in real your enemies all the time?

Can someone tell how much a friendship is worth?
Can you weight it in money?

Friendship is a fragile and rare thing. Freely given from one to another
it is more worth as all money in the world.
Who are we to think that we could buy us friends with money, alternatively,
with treasures?

How would it feel like, if someone tried to buy yours with your greatest
longings?

Jin watched the blond haired friend of Keiko with
interest.
Hinagiku was a warm and kind-hearted person.
Who loved it to laugh and have fun with friends. She seem to be very concerned
about Keikos welfare and even injured as she was it now, the quite young woman
did everything she could to help the other woman.
Not for the first time the last years, the
normally cheery demon cursed under his breath about this entire situation that
had occurred to them all.

This here was even worse!
After they had arc wart gazed at each other for
minutes at first, Kazuma and the wind demon had a very long talk about all the
things that happened after the first accidents.
The tall redheaded human had many more lines in
his face now and allots more scars as before.

His sister Shizuru and he had hided themselves
with many ward in places, even Yusuke never could have come up to think them in
with.
They all had fought the maddest demons only all
the time, not having the power to go after Yusuke and make him see his errors,
he had caused.
After they had found out what had caused the
war in the first place, both siblings and their friends had tried to find
Keiko. They wanted to understand what had happened. Only to find out, they
could not find her!

Now, after a long talk with Hiei and for some
minutes with her, both where near the edge to cry. Shizuru already did, she
hold onto the other brown haired woman and cried silently into Keikos shoulder.
It was a sigh, Jin did not like one bit!
To see this two cry was heart wrenching for
him, because he knew that he was one of the many people who had caused them to
do so.
The wind demon suddenly flows higher in the
clean and clear air in this beautiful realm from Keiko. Jin searched for a
silent place to think about it.

Jin did this not very often serious.
His nature was not the one of a thoughtfully
person in general. He was too much distracted from thinking mostly with other
things.
With a deep frown in the face, the wind-using
demon settled down on the edge of the place where the cave lay.
This place was breathtaking.

After all what happened to her, after all what
Keiko had gone through, she really considered to live here with yokai!
She wanted to share this place with his own
kind. Freely, without a second thought!
The frown on his face deepened with every
second, Jin felt as if he was the worst person in the world now.

What had they all done�?
Somehow, now after all these years, this was
the first time for the yokai he really thought about this all without to run
away from the reality.
Here Jin could not hide and prevent this all had
nothing to do with him. Here, alone with his own he had to admit, that he had
done bad things to and that allot!
The demon did not like the thought.
Not at all.

A sudden hand on his shoulder brought the demon
out of his mood.
Hiei stand right behind Jin and stare at him as
if the fire yokai knew exactly what was running through his mind.
With a sight and a nod, Jin got up and followed
the jagonshi back to the others who had settled down near a fire and talked
about many things now.
Jin was silently glad that Hiei seem to
understand him as strangely enough, Kazuma seem it too.
The spirit fighter nodded at the wind demon
shortly and patted the earth near to him invitingly for him to sit down.

The strange group of humans and yokai spend the
rest of the late evening and most of the following night with talking about
this all and later with talking about better times.

But the wind yokai was mostly distracted from
the entire conversations from Hinagiku.
Every so often, Jin found his gaze back,
settled on the nice young human female to his right and watching her.
Why, he did not know really, somehow she seems
to manage to catch his curios gaze with ease.

The female was not the most beautiful woman Jin
ever saw, nor was Hinagiku very strong.
In fact, she was weaker as anything. Her eyes
where it what catches the demon somehow. The eyes and her entire personality
somehow Jin felt himself drown to her. Moreover, when Hinagiku laughter, it was
like someone had enlightened a candle. He really liked it when the girl laughs,
she seem so much happier and relax as before then.
It made Jin mad to know that she was now
injured because she tried to safe Keiko from harm!
Inside himself the demon was brooding on this
and he wanted nothing more as to kill the person who did that to her in the
first place.

Suddenly Jin realised all the others stare at
him with surprise in their eyes.
For some seconds the red haired demon looked
around confused why they did it. Then he blushed furiously after Jin realised
what had caused the curios and confused looks at him.
His anger must have been to see for every body
on his face for some minutes!
He refused to tell Shizuru what had made him
angry and with another blush and leaved hastily the scene.

How embarrassing, the demon thought.

Hiei watched with great amusement the entire
drama unfold before his eyes the entire time.
On the outside, there was nothing to see of his
amusement but inwardly Hiei laughs hard!
He saw the yokai the entire day follow the
young woman like a dog around the place where ever Hinagiku went. Hiei knew
that Jin did not know it, or better had realised it by now, that he seem to
have a major crush on the kindhearted human female! His eyes danced with the
fire of the fireplace in his silent mirth, to think that the cheery demon would
like the girl so much, Hiei laughter inwardly harder as before.
He had watched the unlikely couple the entire
day. Since the wind demon saw her lying down near Keiko for the first time,
something must have clicked inside of Jin.
He had stand in the entrance for Minutes!

Now, this!
Hiei had read Jin`s thoughts after he felt for
the first time the aura of the other yokai change slightly from thoughtful and
friendly to seriously angry and near mad.
The fire demon part dragon knew all to well how
dangerous Jin could be when mad!
What Hiei found surprised him not the slightest
now, Jin was mad against the attackers of the two women. It was indeed
something new for the yokai to watch, then again, he had seen the demon follow
Hinagiku all the day.
Hiei concluded that the wind yokai would cool
down from his sudden anger better when he was alone for a while.

He watched the others shrug their shoulders and
went back inside the cave to get some sleep.
Only Hinagiku stay behind and watched the spot
where Jin had vanished into the forest around the clearing.
Suddenly Hiei stand and left he thought it
would be maybe better to leave her alone also, because she seem to want to be
alone for a while.
Inwardly, Hiei restrained himself from laughing
out loudly.
Two bakas with one problem! It would be fun to
watch them traipsing around each other for a while!
That was sure!

He mused about how long it would need to these
two to find out that they wanted each other. Hiei could barely restrain himself
from it to burst out in laughter now!
Better, he leaved here before he would do that!
Besides that, he wished to look after Keiko.

Hinagiku had not so much fun for years as she
had it with the strange person Hiei brought with his sister back here!
This red haired yokai was funny, the human
woman thought!
Jin seem to like to laugh allot and had a
nearly comical personality. She liked it to watch the wind demon try to make
her and Yukina laugh.
He talked so fast! How he managed it to do so
was a miracle to the young human woman but somehow it suits his personality and
Hinagiku liked it.

The only thing that confused her was the
strange intense stares the cheery demon gave her from time to time. Why did Jin
do that?
Then his sudden angry face, only minutes ago.
What could make this friendly yokai that angry?
She had nearly jumped out of her skin when she
her ad him suddenly growling deeply!
Jin�s eyes had been shaded red and his normally
handsome face was nothing nice to look at in that minute.

Hinagiku was confused now.
Something inside of her told the female that
she had somehow caused his anger. She did not have a clue how she did it but
somehow she did!
After some minutes thinking Hinagiku stand up
and followed the yokai in the Forrest to ask him about it, slightly unsure with
herself.
All of her old fears of yokai inside of the
young woman where screaming at her to leave it be and went out of Jins path but
on the other hand, the female wanted to know what she had done.

To Hiei's great annoying, Shizuru and Kazuma had
managed it to make their beds right at each side of Keiko!
It made him angry to see her lying between the
two strong psychics.
Even knowing that his former and hopefully
again in time, friends only wanted to protect her made the yokai mad.
That was his job and not theirs any longer!

After some minutes of angry debating with his
inner self, Hiei simply lost it and sneaked in between Shizuru and Keiko. He
carefully snatched the female human out of her blanked in his protecting arms
and went fast away again from the strong psychic in another corner of the cave.
Scowling once wore at the siblings he sat down there with Keiko and settled her
securely into his lap again.
Inwardly Hiei shakes his head against himself.
He was nothing better as the crazy wind yokai.
Hiei could practically hear the roar of the dragon�s
laughter inside of his soul!
That made him angrier as before.

A short glance on Keikos sleeping features quieted
Hiei's anger quickly down again. He gave it up to prevent that he wanted simply
to protect her as the priestess who hold the staff.
The demon watched the human in his lap
longingly sleeping.
Suddenly Hiei got up and out of the filled cave
with her.

Hiei knew why he acted this way so much, the
human woman meant more to him as she knew.
Silently he wished they would be alone again.
With all these people here with them both now, Hiei feared, he could loose the
fragile nearness again that had built slowly between them the last days and
that was nothing he wanted.

Hiei feared 5too loose Keiko again.
His frame found the cave he had spied out on
the past day and brought her quickly before she could catch some cold from the
chilling air outside, inside of it.
This one was much smaller as the other, it suit
him better Hiei thought as the big one.
More so, it lay higher as the other.

He settled down inside with her again and
raised his body heat a little to warm the young woman in his lap.
Hiei could feel her stirring up from her
slumber from this all. He had not wanted to wake Keiko with it. His possessive
yokai side of him had caused it and now, as it seems, Hiei had to deal with the
consequents of his actions.
Frantically the yokai searched for a satisfying
answer of the question she would surely ask. Only to found his thoughts were
loosing him when his own red eyes looked into slightly clouded brown ones from
sleep.

The confused woman blinked some seconds at his
unsuspected face before she seems to find her wits back.
Before she could ask Hiei why he was holding
her as he did it in the middle of the night, or why they both where here and
not where Keiko had went to sleep. Hiei suddenly did the only thing he could
think of since she had opened her eyes.

He bent down and kissed her.
Falling. He was falling and somehow the yokai
did never want to stop falling again!
All Hiei could do in the moment was to taste
and explore everything of the female in his hold he could get.
Keiko tasted so good!
This was for what Hiei had longed inwardly
since he had hold her and brought her back to her flat that day.

What had been a sudden urge born out of a
confused mind before turned fast into a passionate and heady kiss as longer it
lasted.
Hiei could feel her confusion and surprise but
he could not stop himself from doing it.
He had wanted so badly to kiss her all the time
that he refused now to stop here and let it be.
Hiei seduced her skilfully to open her mouth
for his searching tongue and coxed hers into an alluring play with his that
soon turned into a seducing and more and more passionate battle inside her
mouth.

When he felt her slowly give in, Hiei felt a
bold of pleasure run through his entire body. Soon the kiss turned from
passionate to hungry and needy. He only parted from the sweet insanity he had
fallen into because both where out of air.
Heavy panting now the demon watched his near
desire of so long now trace her slightly bruised lips in confusion and wonderment
of what had occurred to her.
Hiei found no trace of anger or rejection in Keiko�s
eyes when she looked at him, only a silent question and the evident confusion
he knew she must feel now.
Who could blame her?
He had just kissed her in a way that normally
not allies did to each other but lovers did it all the time.

The demon refused to let the alluring woman in
his lap come back to her senses and kissed her away again.
When Hiei felt Keiko fist her small hands in
his cloak, he lost himself to his instincts completely.
With a sudden possessive growl the short but
strong yokai brought Keikos lush body down with his and positioned the young
woman under his harder frame in seconds only.
His red gaze never left hers for a second only
and his lips crashed practically down on Keikos to get another heady kiss from
her.
Hiei heard her surprised squeak and used it
fast to enter her mouth again.

This was what he had wanted all the time, this
and so much more.
And as it seems to him, he could get his secret
desires finally fulfilled after so long!
Her hands, he could feel encircling his torso.
Hiei felt Keiko slowly gave into this as longer the kiss lasted. The demons
mind was spinning and Hiei fought suddenly for his clear mind to not to rush
this all for her to much!
When they parted the next time for air, his
gaze had softened in a small smile. Only in his eyes was a heated glint. It
told from the inner desire and lust, Hiei held for the angelic human female in
his strong hold.
To the yokai�s delight, her gaze held not the
rejection of this, of him Hiei had been sure he would find there.

He was just about to reach out and trace her
face with his right hand when both where suddenly startled out of their wonderful
mood suddenly from a loudly spoken message right outside the caves.

With a violent snarl, the fire demon turned
slightly around and unsheathed his sword in the attempt to protect the being in
his arms, whatever it coasts.
Only to sheath it again after his jagon told
the demon that it was only a voice and no person outside the cave of the two.
With a whimper Hiei buried his face fright into
the crock of Keiko`s neck, the surprised and slightly frightened female let him
not only do so, she also hugged the yokai more to her in her attempt to
reassure Hiei.

Groaning inwardly the short yokai made a silent
note to him to kill every avatar he could lay his hands on as fast as he could!
Moreover, he was determined to begin with his
self-taken task on Koenma!
The voice had belonged to the godling.
To kill
the avatar that dared to disturb him just when Hiei was about to get the price
he always had wanted!!

A dark smile crept on his thin lips as he
thought about it.
Hiei's eyes took a deep shade of red Koenma
would pay for this!

Unknown to Hiei, another yokai had just at the
very same moment some very similar thoughts running through his mind.
Fare away from them two occupants of the cave.

Sorry it takes me a
little longer to update this.
