Scene 12
Scene 12 ------------------------------------------- Back At The Main Cave
* The clan all looks toward Hiei when he blinks into the clearing a couple hours later. He stays put to look them all over a couple moments. Then he glances back over his shoulder briefly toward the mouth of the ravine. Silently he wonders how long it'll be before anyone misses him. With a mental 'hmph' he looks back toward the group, 'Who am I kidding? They'll probably celebrate my disappearance.' With this thought somewhat putting him at ease with the decision he's made, Hiei continues over calmly to join his new pack. He comes to a stop before Sarista who is lounging with her back against a tree.
Hiei- If I accept this position, we do things around here my way from now on.. I'm not Gamock, so don't expect me to follow all of his stupid old ways.
* Sarista looks up at him calmly.
Sarista- If you accept, there is only one thing that I will require of you.
* Hiei slowly glances around at the others, already having a pretty good idea what her request will be.
Hiei- Hn.. Go ahead and speak it, Woman.
Sarista- Claim them.. as you have myself.. You know their fate if you don't.
Hiei- Then we have a deal? - No more arguing over my decisions.
* Sarista's lips twitch into a slight, conniving smirk.
Sarista- Prove your words.
* Hiei stares at her, then notices her similar red eyes flick toward her left, toward the demoness seated on her left side. Hiei half glances toward Klarice then looks back down at the Alpha Female. His own lips now mold into his own signature smirk.
Hiei- Human. Come to me.
* Klarice lowers her eyes as Staci looks up at him quickly. The blonde glances toward Klarice then goes over to him.
Staci- M-Master?
* Sarista lowers her eyes as Hiei reaches up and pulls Staci down to her knees in front of him. His eyes finally move from Sarista to look down into Staci's bright blue eyes. his nose catches the heavy scent of fear coming from her.
Hiei- If you were not marked by that old dog I would have returned you to Human World where you belong.. But since I have no other option, besides your death.. I will do this.. Do you accept me?
* Staci swallows hard, but nods and tilts her head to expose her neck to him. The Koorime is a bit surprised at how the show of submission urges him to continue. Hiei growls and leans closer to nuzzle her ear possessively.
Hiei- Mine!
* Staci nods her answer with an ascenting whimper and braces herself. Hiei closes his eyes and as quickly as he can, so as to prevent her too much pain, he sinks his fangs into her neck. Staci yelps a bit and stiffens, then slowly relaxes against him. Hiei braces her up, sends his energy into her until he feels that the ritual is complete, then works away from her. He looks at Sarista again as he situates Staci gently against her.
Hiei- It takes a bit out of me to do that.. I will get to the others as I see fit.. Does this satisfy you?
* Sarista half glances toward Klarice then looks back up at Hiei.
Sarista- Hai.
Hiei- Good.
* He looks toward the younger males who were over to one side playing some type of card game.
Hiei- As I said, your training starts tomorrow at first light.. It's best that you get plenty of sleep tonight.
* D'Garo looks up at Hiei.
D'Garo- It's my turn to keep watch tonight.
Hiei- Until you boys are stronger I will be the only watch this clan will know.
* D'Garo looks at the other three.
Hiei- If any of you wish to argue with me..
* Troiyoku stands quickly.
Troiyoku- Let's turn in, guys.
* He cuffs his brother when Gamaru doesn't move as Silis and D'Garo also stand.
Troiyoku- You, too, Gam.
* Gamaru glances up at Hiei, then stands and follows the other three toward the cave.
Sarista- Such a schedule will soon wear you out.
Hiei- I expect these boys to be able to resume their watches by the end of next week.. Especially those two boys of yours.
Sarista- I already made Gamaru aware that if he disrespects you I will chase him from this canyon, myself.
Hiei- If I don't earn his respect I won't argue with you on that.. See to her.
* Hiei nods toward Staci who looks a little pale and weak. Sarista nods. Hiei turns and leaps up to the sentry ledge. Slowly, the females retire to the cave as the ravine darkens.
