Scene 12 -------------- The Ravine/Later That Day
* When Hiei comes out of the cave he glances around the clearing. Silis is laying on his side asleep under the lookout overhang. Troiyoku and Gamaru are sitting near the edge of the clearing, backs against two trees, glaring at each other. Sarista comes over to him and follows his gaze toward her sons.
Hiei- What.. the h---.. are they doing?
Sarista- Having a mind argument.
* She touches Hiei's shoulder when she notices the jagan begin to glow under his bandana.
Sarista- Umm.. Trust me.. You don't want to know.
* Hiei hesitantly closes his jagan.
Sarista- It won't end with them damaging each other.
Hiei- They've done this before?
Sarista- Hn.. They're brothers.. Their arguments used to drive us crazy.
* Celestia wanders over as Sarista answers.
Celestia- Hai.. But now that you've taught them to communicate that way..
* Hiei looks up at the Wolf hybrid.
Celestia- It's been a lot quieter around here.
Hiei- Whatever.. Is Silis okay?
Celestia- He's in his lazy stage.. Should I wake him?
Hiei- No.
Celestia- How's Lily?
Hiei- Fine. She'll be out soon.
* Hiei glances up at the Lookout above Silis, expecting to see Minoro there. It surprises him to find the rock ledge empty.
Hiei- Where's Minoro?
Sarista- He decided to go set up watch close to the mouth near the river.
Celestia- He said that somebody should be there to watch for anymore intruders that decide to use the river.
Sarista- He felt he was the most logical choice seeing as he's the only one not pregnant.. or breedable.
* Hiei glances up at her, then looks toward the other females who are involved in various activities.
Sarista- You still planning on leaving again?
Hiei- Hn.
Celestia- Leaving again?
* He turns to look up at her.
Hiei- There's a village that's less than a day from here.. I can hurry there, get the new clothes for you, and be back here by sunset tomorrow.
Celestia- We can handle ourselves for that long.
* Hiei nods, moves through the clearing, pauses between the two brothers to glance at each of them, then disappears into the woods. Troi and Gam reset their concentration back on each other.
