Scene 12 ---------- One Hour Later
* Hiei finally sinks to the side and rolls to the ground off of D'Tara. She squirms onto her side and promptly passes out. Sarista moves to the simmering cookpot, dishes out a bowl of the rice mixture, and moves to kneel beside Hiei. He opens his eyes then lets her help him to sit up. Sarista smiles as she lifts a spoonful of rice up to his lips.
Sarista- You, sir,.. never cease to amaze me.
* Hiei laps the spoon clean, then reaches for the bowl.
Hiei- How so?
* Sarista holds the bowl out of his reach until he drops the hand.
Sarista- 'Tara has always been sensitive..
* She feeds him another spoonful.
Sarista- About her homely looks.
Hiei- I can feed myself.
Sarista- Oh be quiet and let me pamper you some.. D---, you can be so stubborn.
* Hiei snorts.
Hiei- It's a Fire trait.. Remember?
* Sarista grins, nods, and feeds him another spoonful.
Sarista- Indeed.
* All activity pauses when they notice the auras approaching. Staci looks around when they all look toward the woods.
Staci- What?
* Gamaru and Silis enter the clearing, pause, then move closer. Hiei takes the opportunity to snatch the bowl and spoon from Sarista.
Hiei- Go see to them, Woman.. They're probably hungry enough to eat the rest of that pot.
* Sarista nods and moves to dish out two larger stone bowls of the rice mixture. Gamaru and Hiei meet eyes briefly, then Gamaru takes the bowl his mother offers him. He hands it to Silis, accepts the second bowl for himself, then they move to sit at the table and chow down. Hiei relaxes, closes D'Tara's kimono, then continues eating his own rice.
