Glad you're still reading, POH. Hey, Tachi, I had a random thought last night. Your name would be a great character name if I need another one in my story, lol. But I wouldn't do that without your permission, of course. Unless that's against some AFF rule I'm not aware of, yet.

Scene 18 -------------- One Week Later
* Hiei is relaxing on the Lookout. Over the past week this has become the safest place for him. He gazes calmly down on the three visible members of his pack, watching them relax in each their own ways. Suddenly all of them look toward the cave when they hear a couple snarls and a howl. Hiei stands to his feet when the two largest of his females come tumbling out of the cave followed by Sarista.
Sarista- Celestia, 'Tara, stop this!
* When the two females seperate to stand facing each other heaving Hiei reacts instinctually. When he appears between them in a near crouched position he snarls toward one, then the other. Sarista just quiets and crosses her arms to watch how the Alpha will handle this latest outburst.
Hiei- Enough! Both of you, back off!
* The two angry females give each other parting snarls then D'Tara bounds away toward the Waterfall Meadow. Celestia turns and moves toward the Lookout alcove. Hiei settles and raises up to his full height. He watches the Wolf hybrid settle down as he speaks with Sarista.
Hiei- What the h--- was that about this time?
* Sarista shrugs.
Sarista- How the h--- should I know? I'm trying to get some rest one minute, the next I'm playing referee to those two b----es.
* Hiei half turns to tilt his head up at Sarista. She huffs, turns, and goes back into the cave as Lily comes over beside Hiei.
Lily- Don't say I didn't warn you.
* Hiei pinches the bridge of his nose.
Lily- If I were you, now would be the time to bail, Darling.
* Hiei glares up at her.
Hiei- Bail? You best not be suggesting that I run from this mess now, Fox.
* Klarice, who is swinging in the vine hammock, sits up and swings her feet out over the edge.
Klarice- Mess?
* Hiei cringes at her tone then moans when the Ice hybrid takes off. The next thing he knows a spike of trepidation shoots through him. Lily shakes her head when Hiei takes off after Klarice. The Kitsune then glances around and hurries over to claim the hammock just before Trinka can climb into it. Lily growls and the younger, muted female quickly backs off.
