More as only friendship
Chapter two

Shit happens!
The next day, right after Kazuma left the house
to go study, a quit person opened his bedroom window in seconds and came in.
His sister had gone to work half an hour ago,
the silent person knew that and was about to take advantage of this little fact.
As the next person who went through the window behind the first did it also.
Both stood quietly for some seconds in the clean
room and looked at each other with sore looks in their handsome features.
They could easily smell Kazumas tears from the
night before in the room.
After the youth had practically stumbled about
their celebrating of being together again in the clearing, they had followed
the human back to his home. First to get some things strait but later to make
sure he was ok.
Kazuma had simply fallen or tripped over every
single branch that happens to lie in his path home!
They had seen him suddenly pack out a green coloured
book out of the nowhere and later they watched him write frantically something
down in it.
Kurama was the first who voiced his suspicious
about the nature of the book out and Hiei simply followed his trail of thoughts
and nodded in agreement.
Both demons never wanted to hurt the kind human
friend of them in real. That the normally so strong psychic began to cry was a
shock to both of them.
Silently Hiei and Kurama had agreed to wait
until he was away to his studies and then broke into his room to find out why
and more so, what the hell had made their friend cry as hard as he did it!
Since Kazuma got this strong in his powers,
Hiei could not use his jagon on the human as he could do it at other people.
The ex detective was too strong in his psychic
powers for the apparition to get away unnoticed with an act like this.
And somehow, Hiei never wanted to pry in
Kazumas thoughts without to be invited too, he had too much respect for the
human for doing such a thing.
So the two demons simply staid and watched the
youth sleep after his crying had subsided.
With a bad feeling in both of their stomachs
and with a slightly confused look on both of their features.
In no time Kurama found the green book in its
hiding place behind the headboard of Kazumas bedpost.
Hiei’s frame plopped down on Kazumas bed meanwhile
his companion got more books, all in green, out of the place. Six, to be exact
and after a curios glance at each other the fox demon began to read the last
entry of Kazuma in the last one. Only to read it a few times again before Hiei
watched him with unmasked curiosity begun to flip through the other ones and
read frantically over the entries in them.
After awhile Hiei´s curiosity got the better
out of the demon. He asked the Kitsune what the hell he had!
Only to be silence from the same one with a
hastily shaking of his head and the silent beg to be quite for some minutes so
he could read. Kurama told Hiei he would tell him later.
The apparition shrugged his slim shoulders and
let his body fell into the soft cushions of Kazumas bed.
Burying his nose as deeply Hiei could do it
into the pillows on it, the yokai took a deep sniff at the scent of the human
that lingered inside of it.
Hiei would be rather found death before he
would tell the ningen friend of Kurama and him how deeply he cared about the
human warrior in reality! Or what Hiei wanted to do with Kazumas tall body all
the time.
Slightly shaking the apparition thought some
minutes about what the human would think of Kurama and him, if Kazuma would
ever found out how much he grew dear to the two yokai in the last years!
They never told the human this in order to hold
their fragile friendship with the boy instead.
What do they have to tell him anyway?
That both demons wanted Kazuma in a sexual way
and more? The human society never had been found of these kinds of
relationships before as far as Hiei knew it and both yokai where sure that
their friend would be also not. Didn’t he care for his own sister in the way
the humans thought he had to? Hiei shuddered by the mere thought of it, the
demon did not like it one bit that the tall human liked his sister more then
him or Kurama! Not that Hiei wasn’t glad for Yukina, oh no. He only wanted the
kind and strong human simply for himself and his partner, which was all.
Hiei hugged the pillow he lies on near to his
sensitive nose.
Kazumas scent lingered into it strongly; it
made his head swim and clouded Hiei’s senses.
The sound of Kurama’s voice, which suddenly was
loudly to hear, got him up into a standing position in a mere second.
The Kitsune nearly danced in his joy of having
discovered something important. Even his green eyes sparkled with his myth and
happiness. That raised a silent hope in the normally negative thinking fire
apparition suddenly.
A set of nods and a happy grin of his Kitsune
told the yokai all he needed to know to let it grow into much more as a hope, a
slight grin began to spread over Hiei’s features when he watched his companion
began to dance around into Kazumas room in his glee.
After some more minutes of explaining the grin
suddenly turned into a huge smile.
Both yokai tugged carefully the books away
again and made silently sure to leave not a single trace that they ever had
been here in Kazumas room.
After that they simply vanished out of it and
wend straight back to Kurama’s new apartment not fare from the youth’s home, to
think about this new information’s more closely.
Kurama couldn’t remember when he began to like
the red haired human as more as a simple team mate or a friend.
He mused secretly it must have been the same
day he meet the kind young human. The Kitsune spirit wasn’t sure if it was not
the same day for his mostly so quit companion too. How often they both had
mourned about the fact that they wanted the tall red haired ningen to be part
of them. Only to realize that they could never get him had lost track with time
to both demons.
Often they had simply wished they could be
thieves again. So they both could steal him and all their other friend’s right
out of the ningenkei away and bring them into a safety place. Fare away from
all the dangers all of them had to live through all the time!
And out of the grasp of the Reikei had on their
ningen friends, which would try to take them and more so Kazuma, from both
yokai in time!
It had been no use to them to think so, because
they both could not change it how it was.
Right after the yokai discovered out that
Yusuke was no simple ningen; both had taken advantage of this little fact quite
fast.
They bound the young as much to them they could
master and where now more closely allies with the former human as they where
ever before.
Also, the two yokai told him to bring his
chosen mate as fast as possible in the Makai and away from the ningenkei. To
safe she from the hold Koenma had on her soul.
Yusuke had at first not understood what they
tried to tell him. After Hiei snapped some day and told the youth it bluntly
that Yusuke was about to loose her to the Reikei if he did not something very
fast, Yusuke got it finally and went to work.
To discover now that Kazuma had a major crush
on them two all the time was something of a shock to both demons.
It wasn’t very hard to figure out what the
human must have thought all the time or through what he must have gone all the
years. That their ningen thought that much low of him now was definitely their
own fault. Hiei put it into words after awhile shared silence thinking between them.
It really was no wonder to the fire yokai at all.
He had mostly insulted the youth to cover his
secret wantons in front of the human. To judge from Kuramas angry face; the
spirit fox thought about some things in the past too, Kurama seems to regret
them now as Hiei did it too.
After some more minutes of silence, both demons
thought about the fact that Koenma never would let them catch their human if he
found out the two demons want Kazuma as a mate of them.
The spirit world simply forbids relationships
between humans and yokai. They where not found of any kind of this and would
surely try to *save* Kazumas poor soul before it could fall victim to the demon
realm.
Meant in fact; Kurama and Hiei!
Koenma would be furious if he ever found it out
before the two found a way to get their friend.
That brought Kurama’s trail of thoughts back to
the present problem. How could they both made sure that Kazuma would become
their companion forever, without to let the Reikei know that they wanted to try
to make him?
Thus that both had to bring the human first at
all to believe them both, that they wanted him too! The much bigger of his
current problems was the latter one of the two. The Kitsune in human shape
frantically thought about a way to get Kazuma into Hiei’s and his own grasp.
And that long enough for them to convince the ningen to stay with them.
Hiei’s thoughts took an equally way and made
the fire yokai silently chewing on his bottom lip with his right fang.
Suddenly the demons mind crossed a thought that
sounded hopeful to him.
After Hiei told Kurama of what he had in mind
the green eyes of his companion sparkled with happiness. And something other
that would have scared the shit out of Kazuma if he would have seen it.
Mischief and a lot of it!
And the poor boy would have simply run away
from the two demons, if he could have seen an equally sparkle rising into
Hiei’s eyes too.
It matched the one into Kuramas in no time;
both of the yokai put their heads more closely together and began to plan out
carefully their next steps.
They both where ready with their plans as it
began to get slowly dark outside the building. It was late afternoon now and
only four hours away from Kazumas normal routine of going home from his study
place.
As if it had been a silent command to the two,
both began to get up and went to work on their plan.
Unknowingly to Kazuma; who was on his way back,
hours later, to his home again! He chose this night to take the longer one, through
the streets to get there.
The young human had thought the entire day
about the event last night.
That leaved him not into his best moods ever.
Silently cursing at the moment down on every stone
that brought his tall muscular frame to trip on his way back home! He hated his
live at the moment, every time his thoughts drifted away again; a magically
appearing stone on his way caused him to stumble right over the same one again.
Shaking his head into silent defeat, the human
youth got back to his feed the third time this day and went back on his way
home.
Suddenly the spirit sword user got under attack
from an out of the blue appearing lower class yokai.
Before Kazuma could even draw his energy sword,
the demon sliced into the flesh of one of Kazumas legs with a dagger and
disappeared again with a triumphal howl.
Before the humans eyes everything began to
become a haze of colors and moves. Then his body slumbered slowly down to the
ground below his tall frame and he lost his conscious.
Two silently figures watched the entire scene
below their feed from a high tree to Kazumas right with interest written in
inhumanly eyes.
They also watched the lower class appear again
with three others and take the psychic with them back to the Makai. There the
idiots wanted to use the human fighter of the former team Urameshi, to get some
money out of his friends. More so, they wanted to become famous in the Makai
through the fact that they had captured this ningen.
Somebody had only a few hours ago told them in
a Makai bar, where they could find Kazuma and about a way into the ningenkei to
get the human fighter. Praising their unbelievingly luck, all four of the
demons went straight to the ningenkei to get him. Before anyone else could take
away their price!
They just had gotten back, as suddenly two high
class yokai appeared right before them. They snatched Kazuma out of their hold
and killed them within seconds only.
Both demons vanished from the place with the
human in their care in seconds. They only leaved the corpses of the lower
classes behind.
Right after they had vanished out of sight, two
Reikei warriors appeared through the open standing portal. They found the death
demons where the two other had left them.
There where no trace for them to find from
their attackers or from the captured human.
They did not know that the ningens name was Kuwabara.
Both only knew that some demons had captured a human again and went back to the
Makai with the poor soul. Shrugging their shoulders, because some of their
ferry girls would surely bring the poor soul later back to the Reikei, the
ghosts left and closed simply the portal behind them.
They never even consider to help the human
capture or to search after it. Not into this part of Makai, this was known to
be one of the most deadly parts of the entire demon realm!
Out of a safe distance to the portal, Hiei and
Kurama watched their plan work out as they hoped it would.
Both had chosen this part of the Makai because
it would have this effect to the Reikei people.
The two demons had wanted to bring their friend
here without the Reikei to know and this was to them the easiest way to do so.
Now their longtime friend was into their both care and Hiei and Kurama would be
dammed before they would give Kazuma back!
With another longing look on Kazumas sleeping
form, Kurama got the youths body gently in his arms again. He went after the silently
leading Hiei to get the human quickly into a hiding place. Before the Reikei
would begin to look after their human’s position through magic and find Kazuma
here.
They had made sure that the demons would not
hurt the human seriously. They tended his wound first and now they wanted to
make sure there was no trail to find from Kazuma.
Silently smirking Hiei watched the longing look
of his Kitsune at their sleeping human.
Then he went back on his way with the Kitsune
and both vanished out of sight in mere seconds.
Direction; unknown.
Well, that was the
second chappy.
