Scene 20
Scene 20 ------------- A Couple Hours Later
* When the gang arrives back at their walled fortress-like village the leader, Matsua, orders the stronghold to be locked down until further notice. He then follows his group and their quarry into one of the larger warehouse-type buildings.
Matsua- For now we're putting them in the underground holdings.
* Matsua stops to grab up Nidoru as the others continue toward the large service elevator.
Matsua- Go get Izaru and Kodai.
* Nidoru nods quickly and leaves. Matsua joins the others in the elevator and presses the down arrow.
Matsua- We got lucky in catching these ones. But now we gotta be smart if we wanna keep 'em for a while.
* When the elevator deposits them in the underground holding area another demon comes out of a sideroom.
Kuchki- Welcome back, Boss.. I see you were very successful again.
* Kuchki falls into step beside Matsua as they hurry down the wide hallway toward a pair of heavy iron doors.
Matsua- Springtime is always the best time to gather new stock, Kuchki.. But just wait till you see who we got this time.
* Matsua shoves the heavy doors open easily.
Matsua- We're going to put a couple of them in the strongest holding room you got.
Kuchki- Hmm.. I think it's unoccupied.. This way.
* Kuchki takes the lead down a more narrow aisle that's lined on both sides with cages full of demons of both genders and various ages. Matsua pauses near a large empty cage.
Matsua- Here. Put the three lower males in this cage. Hari, when Nidoru brings Izaru and Kodai have the wizards ward these three then bring them to us so these two alphas can be warded.
* Matsua and Kuchki watch Touya, Shishi, and Suzuka taken into the cage.
Matsua- Be careful with the blue-haired guy! He's already bred.. We'll have him examined once they're settled in.
Kuchki- They're pretty enough.
* Kuchki continues leading the others on down the aisle, hangs a left at the end, and takes them through another pair of heavy doors. Matsua smirks with pride at the secure facility he's built over the years. Kuchki stops them at the last single door in this wide room full of doors. He speaks as he searches through his ring of keys.
Kuchki- This is our most secure observation room.. The walls are all three feet thick and solid iron.. Besides that, all these rooms are already pre-warded against most of the usual energy attacks that might be used.. Ahh, here it is.
* Kuchki unlocks the heavy door, then steps aside to allow the others to enter first. He and Matsua watch the lower demons remove the netting that secured their burdens. Kuchki's eager grin slowly fades when the two unconscious males are revealed. He scurries over to look closer at them then up at Matsua.
Kuchki- Have you.. lost your mind?!
Matsua- No.
Kuchki- How the h--- did you..?!
Matsua- It's springtime.. They were both a bit.. distracted.
* Kuchki flubbers unintelligibly a couple moments, then goes over to Matsua.
Kuchki- Do you realize that you'll bring at least two Territories down on us?! Not to mention that stupid King Enki?!
Matsua- Relax, Kuchki.. If all of them want to keep these two alive they'll be wise and leave us alone..
Kuchki- Oh man, Matsua.. I hope you know what you're doing.
Matsua- Hey, we broke no laws.. We caught them fair and square.. Enki's not made any laws against our business, you know this.. Now, everyone out.. Kuch, see that Izaru and Kodai put their strongest wards on these two before they wake up.. The Kitsune was already hit with the flashbomb ward they sent to me.. I'm going to go celebrate our new fortune, you can join when you're done here.. I'll be down to check on them in the morning.
* Matsua starts toward the door.
Matsua- Nobody enters this room unless they have express permission from you or I.
* Kuchki looks toward Yusuke and Kurama as the others follow Matsua out. He edges closer to get another look at the two, roaming his eyes over Yusuke's nude body.
Kuchki- D---, it may be worth dying to get a shot at this one.
* Kuchki shakes his head then turns to face a pair of older demons when they enter. He relays Matsua's orders to the pair of wizards, then keeps watch as they move to carry out their tasks.
