Hiei's Harem - Pt. 12 - Dominating

Scene 21 ----------- The Main Barrier


* When Hiei arrives with a jolting stop the Lynx brothers are all there waiting as usual. Hiei turns his concentration on the strange aura. The brothers watch him move forward to peer through the foggy barrier at the large reptillian demon.


Hiei- That’s him.

Habataro- Yep.

Kumataro- Hn.

Coutaro- All eight feet of him.

Hiei- Is that height or width?


* The three brothers chuckle some. Hiei grunts.


Hiei- Looks like both to me.


* Hiei’s visage then blanks as he half glances up toward the eldest Lynx.


Hiei- Hab,.. if things don’t go according to plan..

Habataro- Master.


* Hiei growls a bit at being interrupted.


Habataro- If you can’t beat this guy I’ll mate both my brothers.


* Kumataro and Coutaro look at each other. Hiei smirks again as he looks up at Hab fully.


Hiei- It’d almost be worth losing to witness that.


* Habataro shrugs.


Habataro- You could order..

Hiei- Shut the h--- up, cat.


* Hiei looks back through the barrier.


Habataro- We want to go out with you.

Hiei- No. I won’t need any help. Stay back here behind..


* Ooshama stops his anxious pacing and roars.


Ooshama- Come out of there and face me, coward!


* Hiei scowls.


Hiei- I’ll be done in five minutes.


* Hiei removes his kitanna from its hidden sheath and moves through the barrier. As soon as he sees Hiei coming toward him Ooshama turns to the side slightly.


Ooshama- Is.. that little snip.. him?


* The Koorime had been so focused on Ooshama that he hadn’t noticed Tiyarmaru and his clan until the Tiger answers.


Tiyarmaru- Hai,.. sir.


* Hiei stops advancing and looks past Ooshama toward the Tiger. He and several of his clan have the cage that holds Sylk and Eboni surrounded. As Ooshama begins to laugh heartily, ignoring Tiyar’s contempt, Hiei inspects the two females. Both look to be doing fairly well, except for Sylk’s angrily narrowed eyes.


Ooshama- Oh.. Oh, this.. this is.. rich!

Tiyarmaru- I wouldn’t laugh if I were you.. You’d better take a closer look at who he is.


* Having already read the Tiger’s contempt himself, due to his opened jagan behind his bandana, Hiei puts his concentration back on Ooshama.


Ooshama- He’s a little bug! I already know everything I need to.. I’m going to..


* When Ooshama turns to glare back toward Hiei the apparition blinks from view. Ooshama stares at the suddenly empty space then screams a moment later when he realizes that his left arm has dropped to the ground with a bloody plop. Tiyarmaru doesn’t flinch when Hiei appears next in front of him. The Tiger glances over Hiei’s head toward Ooshama, who is attempting to re-attach his arm. When Tiyar makes his decision to step aside he motions his pack to hold their positions, also. Hiei uses his kitanna to make short work of the lock and chains keeping the cage door shut.


Hiei- Both of you get behind that barrier. No arguments!


* Hiei then blurs back away. Ooshama spins from the impact as his right arm is severed like the other had been. Sylk steps out of the cage and looks up at Tiyarmaru.


Tiyarmaru- For once in your life, do what you were told, Sylk.. You’ll only distract him out here.


* Sylk looks toward Hiei who is paused a moment assessing, or perhaps enjoying, the reptile’s agony. She then motions Eboni to follow her. As they make their way around the area Hiei blinks out of sight again. Another flash of his blade seperates Ooshama’s tail from him. The large lizard screams out a painful curse.


Ooshama- That.. mutt lied.. to me! - Who the.. h--- are you?!


* Hiei comes back around to a skidding halt in front of his agonized rival. He never takes his eyes off of Ooshama as his jagan monitors Sylk and Eboni’s progress. Ooshama leans to look closer at him.


Ooshama- Wait.. I-I know you..! You work for that.. b----..

Hiei- Her name is Lord Mukuro.

Ooshama- Yeah, yeah.. Now I see what’s.. g-going on here..!


* When the females are close enough to the barrier Hiei gives a final glance toward them then yanks off his bandana. Ooshama stumbles backward, trying to keep his balance.


Ooshama- Don’t you all see?!


* He tosses his crocodilian head around looking at all of the gathered males that have come to witness this battle. Hiei begins to unravel his arm ward.


Ooshama- He’s going to put you all.. un-under that freaky..!

Hiei- I’m only going to say this one last time, you ugly, scaly b------.. Her name.. is Lord Mukuro.. But she is the least of your worries right now.


* Ooshama feels Hiei collecting his dark energy as he continues unravelling his right arm’s ward.


Ooshama- No! Wait.. W-we can make a deal.. We can be p-partners..!


* Hiei grunts.


Hiei- Hmm.. Give me a moment to think about that.

Ooshama- Yeah, yeah.. Take your time..


* Hiei’s wide open jagan detects the lizard attempting to control the ones watching that bear his mark. The apparition scowls as his third eye scrambles the reptile’s concentration. He realizes that he’s gathered enough energy.


Hiei- Okay. Here’s my answer.. Dragon of the Darkness.. Flame!


* He thrusts his right fist out toward the blubbering, befuddled demon. He watches, with great satisfaction and a slight twinge of disgust, as his flaming dragon launches from his arm. It barrels in its usual twisting, screaming fashion toward its prey, sending all the spectators diving for cover behind anything they can find. Just before the dragon reaches Ooshama Hiei releases him from the jagan’s grasp. The armless, tailless reptile barely has time to yell before he’s engulfed in the dragon’s gaping mouth. Hiei relaxes his stance as he continues to watch the dragon smash through the trees until it comes to a shuddering halt high against the tall okunenju that he’d indicated earlier. The flaming aftermath travels up the stalk until it is completely engulfed in the supernatural pyre. Along with the assurance that Ooshama has, indeed, perished comes an almost overwhelming rush of power that visibly engulfs the Koorime. The sensation rages inside him until he finally has to release the built up energy with a loud roar of victory. When Hiei sounds off he feels the waves of his energy wash out from him. He slowly grows quiet and heaves as he concentrates on the Tsunami. The waves of his visible energy blanket all of the demons around him. They continue reaching out for what seems like miles before washing back to him. Hiei opens his eyes and they flare like flames as he feels every last trace of Ooshama’s control melt away from those surrounding him, erasing the sealing marks from the ones that were enslaved. When the uproar finally subsides Hiei blinks until his true eyes return to normal. Even then, it is several minutes before the hidden demons begin to emerge. Sylk shakes herself loose from the spectacle she and Eboni had witnessed from just behind the barrier. The Pantheress glances toward the small mountain that raises up not far behind them then nudges her daughter and they take off past the Lynxs. The three brothers exchange glances then return their attention to their Master. Tiyarmaru gets to his feet, glances toward the still-flaming okunenju, then looks at Hiei as he rubs his healed chest.


Tiyarmaru- He.. he did it.. We’re free from Ooshama.


* One of Tiyar’s underlings sidles up to his alpha conspiratorially.


Tiger Demon- Now, sir.


* Tiyarmaru looks down at the younger.


Tiger Demon- Now would be the perfect opportunity to destroy that one..

Tiyarmaru- Destroy..?

Tiger Demon- That much energy had to have left him drained, Master.. Kill him and you will be..

Tiyarmaru- Shut the h--- up!


* The younger demon yelps when Tiyarmaru snatches him up easily, signifying the return of his full strength.


Tiyarmaru- That.. one.. has just set us all free, Cub.. Is that how you wish to repay him?!


* Tiyarmaru hears several yells and looks toward Hiei again. It seems that his subordinate wasn’t the only one to get that idea. But Hiei remains calm as the demons rush toward him. Before they can even get anywhere near him the Fire Demon’s aura alone bursts them into flames. When they are all nearly ashes Hiei looks around alertly.


Hiei- Anyone else dare to defy me?!


* When he gets no offers he looks toward the burning okunenju. Then he suddenly remembers that he sent Sylk behind the barrier. With an ‘eep’ he turns and takes off leaving behind several demons with large sweatdrops rolling down the backs of their heads.

Okay. Well I know that may have been a bit gory, but I hope it lived up to your expectations. I'm still a bit shaky on fight scenes, so let me know what you think. I'll appreciate any feedback. :o)
