"It seems to be clear today boys," A large demon had called over the radio. Hiei carried on his belt. Maki was seeing a lot of technical advances, thanks to Kurama. He had only spent two days in Ningenkai, and was able to collect and run hundreds of human devices though his home.

There was no need to worry, about intruders coming and destroying there advances. The fox was to smart, he had set up his vines that would kill any B class demon. And Hiei was afraid to ask the fox, what plats laid behind the vines.

Not all of the demons took well to the changes. Most of them offended and Angered that they wouldn't have a war. That they would be on patrol, but there small minds didn't realize. That the were easily out numbered, by the mindless humans, and demons that Katsurou had taken over. And this was the best rout until then.

Hiei walked down two the bottom of the centipede, where the twins Nasumi and Kojo had been sparing out of boredom. After the first few weeks of there patrolling, most of the mindless demons had been killed. And the ones with half a brain left. Kept hidden, the would spend 12 hours a day, on those dammed centipedes. And Hiei was pleased, when they were able to go home.

"Time to leave already?" Kojo asked as he blocked his sisters� punch. She then attempted to kick him from the side. A classic move, and easy to predict. "Nice try sis" He laughed. As he disapped and appeared behind woman, holding her shoulders back. He had always been the strongest between the two.

Hiei watched the twins with envy, they had spent there entire life together, training and just enjoying each others company. No mater how many times, Mukuro or kurama attempted to talk him into telling Yukina; it wouldn't be the same. They could never be as close as Nasumi and Kojo. It was best, just to watch her from a far.

"I didn't come down, to watch you Spar" Hiei said coldly, as he looked at the twins. And walked back up the stairs. The men operating the centipede had made great pass� and they were already up to the fortress. By the time the made it up the stairs, Hiei walked out of the door, as it was lowered down.

The rest the centipedes had lined up along to the centipede. There Hiei saw the night crew preparing to bore the centipede. Yomi stood with his son Shura and his former worker in Gandera Yoda. He didn't keep eye contact with the men as he walked out but did nod his head to Shura who nodded back.

He came to a group of low class demons they were dressed in red and purple the colors of Mukuro�s fortress. They held the medium sized boxes that Hiei would have to places his hands on and it would read his DNA making sure that no intruders would enter the fortress. He found this foolish, but Katsurou was able to take the form of any being and able to mimic the attacks. The only flaw Kurama had found was he couldn't copy finger prints.

"Thank you Lord Hiei," The seventh said in a mechanical voice, almost resembling Mukuro's when they first met. Hiei walked down the hallway, they had been come quite packed over the weeks. Mukuro had mentioned to him that her fortress had not been that busy in almost 300 years and she was starting to get use to the constant movement in the hallways at all hours.

"If it hadn't been for that Damn Renkai Princes, none of this would be happening. He could have taken the Humans. To a more friendly environment, like His fortress. From what Hiei knew, Enki's was almost as big as heir�s and they wouldn�t have to deal with the stench of humans.

Hiei made it to Mukuro�s chambers. She had chosen the back up room, as her now permanent room. They had the servants move in the desk and chair, and all the belongings and soon after there memories were erased. At Mukuro�s request. There were only three other people besides him, that knew this location. One being Kerin and second being Shigure and the last being Kurama. Though it didn't surprise him and didn't doubt, if the fox didn't know that he would have pestered Hiei until he told.

Hiei walked into the chamber his eyes glanced to the right side of the bed where Mukuro usually slept but the spot was empty. This confused Hiei. "She shouldn't be out of bed" He thought to himself, as light he his eyes had not caught before now had his full attention. Mukuro sat against the patted chair, her back towards Hiei she look constricted on what ever she was writing, stacks of papers at each side.

" I'm guessing from your sent, that you haven't found anymore of Katsurou men" She said as she turned around, looking at Hiei he couldn't help but smirk he enjoyed seeing Mukuro in he swollen state. Her body quickly took to her hormonal changes and her stomach had grown. It was large enough to pop out of the bottom of the shirt she was wearing.

"What are you smirking at" she said in a teasing tone as she turned around fully every part of her body was growing big for her and at her embarrassment she had to ask the maids to make her clothing bigger. They had attempted to keep this a secret as much as possible. If the maids questions her requests the were killed. She was nervous about this pregnancy and from the looks she received from Hiei He felt the same.

"You shouldn't be out of bed." He said as he walked over to Mukuro to help her up �I can get it "She said dogging his movement as she stood.�Pain could be seen in her eyes as she almost fell Hiei catching her. �Your operation was only two days ago Shigure said you need to stay in bed for a week until your body adjusts" Hiei growled he didn't like the fact that Mukuro was to stubborn to listen to the doctor.

After Telling Shigure, that they planed on keeping the fetus, shigure told them that to make sure the child is born healthy and to help with the delivery she would have to under go three major surgery�s he had gone into greater details but Hiei had lost interest. Shigure had warned Mukuro, that if she didn't follow his rules after the surgery�s that she could die and possibly lose the baby.

Hiei had to admit, that it would be quite pontless; to have these painful operations. If she were to lose the baby, and just wanted her to stay in bed. He did not care for the child, and much as Mukuro did. Kurama said it was nothing un usual. Hiei easily had power over the stubborn mother to be as he helped her to the bed and laid her down on the right side.

"I am not the person, to be lying in bed sick Hiei. You should know this, better than anyone else." she said defenvely, as she lay down. Hiei fixed the pillow by her feet and made sure she was elevated. �and I�m the person that always contradicts, your desions" He said as he crawled over her legs. And laid beside her, they laid beside each other in a comfortable silence.

Mukuro had made a fine choice, when she mated with Hiei. He was strong where she was week, and didn't put up will her bullshit, wasn't afraid to tell her, what was on his mind. He stayed beside her, though her surgeries and stayed with her though the recovery. She knew that Hiei would never admit it but she knew Hiei cared for the child as much as she did.

Hiei sat up against the bed, as he looked down to Mukuro, who was looking up at him. "Go to sleep, you need your rest." "You can not tell me, what to do Hiei" she said wit ha smirk as she looked up at him. He looked back, with the same smirk she sat up " Remember Hiei, I�m your lord you do as I say." she said as she leaned forward, kissing the unexpecting Hiei.

She took his shock for advantage, as she pushed him over on the available amount of space. She pushed his hands over his head, and enjoyed when Hiei attempted to fight back. �I gain my strength as need," She said as she was to prove the point. That she wasn't the weakling that Hiei had been treating as.

He smirked, as he felt Mukuro gain the domancy. Now this was his Mukuro, the woman who could kick his and not feel bad about it. As they kissed, they both fought over domancey. Mukuro had proven herself the winner of the battle, as she slid her hand below his belt cupping his manhood. "Wench," he growled in a low tone.

He would allow her domancy this time, he had to fight back the earge to nock her back and take her. There were many things that wanted to do to her. But in her current state, want able to. "He let out a loud growl, and he could feel Mukuro breathing and blowing on his ear as she sucked on it her hand had worked his belt free and went to the prize between his legs

Mukuro kept teasing Hiei for some time until he finally couldn�t take it anymore and broke he growled her name loudly as he started to shiver. His body fell back against the bed as he looked up at her she looked equally pleased as she lay back on to her side of the bed. "Wench" He repeated again, turning on is side his back meeting hers as they fell asleep.

Hiei stretched, as he looked around to the pitch black room. The first watch, of the night. He fixed his pants that were carelessly left open as he then stat up, he walked around making sure the door was closed and that he felt no energy. Usually this task would be shared between the two, but sense Mukuro�s pregnancy. She had been sleeping full though the nights and Hiei thought it was best to make sure she slept.

He made is way back to the bed as he crept in slowly, he looked at his soon to be family and couldn't help but smirk. He wouldn't have image that such a thing could happen to him. It had only been three years ago that he had attempted to die in honor and killed by Shigure. He had felt alone, he had spent the last six months in that cellar killing anything that came by him. Witch only proved his point more. The only thing he had left was fighting.

But after that day when Mukuro reviled herself to him, that day when she spoke of her past. The both could find a similar bond in pain they found allies and in allies they found compatibility. He would have never thought that he would find a mate. He would live alone sleeping in trees, and checking in on Yukina; the same he did as a child. He would have looked in the eyes of the person, who said he would be mated and be expecting a child in the next three years, and would call them a fool and most likely kill them.

He looked over to Mukuro who was asleep on her back, both of her hands laced across her chest. He looked to her swallow belly, he had noticed that it had been growing allot recently. Wondered how big, her stomach would be. He made sure she was sound asleep by moving closer. Usually when she was half asleep or attempting get to sleep she would roll onto her side so they could once again lie back to back. But she stayed in the same position.

He placed his hands on her stomach as he could feel the fetus latching onto his energy and tilted his head. "Greedy thing aren�t you" He said to the enlarged stomach of Mukuro "You better be strong," He said again, as he continued to cress her stomach. Remembering only a few weeks ago, when he knew Mukuro�s true desion

He had been sure that Mukuro and killed the child, when she was up in the bathroom by herself. At the conference he couldn�t sense the energy of the child. He believed that he didn't have a say in the matter, her body would be changing and her life would be at jeopardy for this. Though he was willing to help her any anyway possible if she did decide to keep it. Finding Kurama's words true.

Hiei was one of the first one to step out of the conference, His mind in other places as he began to walk down the hallway. "Sir Hiei" Kiren called as Hiei looked back to the large armor covered demon. His silence was kiren's que to continue. �You look troubled." he said, "Did everything go alright, with the conference" "Yes your precious lord Mukuro is fine" He thought to himself, as he attempted to say it allowed. "Fine he said as he looked up at the demon "Spar with me" Hiei said out of the blue taking kiren off guard.

"It would be great honor to spar with you Hiei," He paused as he talked "But I have a duty to keep Lady Mukuro safe" He said again Hiei grabbed the nearest guard that was walking buy and placed him where Kiren once stood. "Your replacement" He said as he looked to the armored demon again. "As you wish Hiei," He said as he followed him back to the training halls."

He and kiren battled for some time, almost equally matched. Both being able to dog the others attacks. They had both Battled with Mukuro, and found it interesting to battle with the other to see the driftnet they had. The spar had ended Kiren, had one twice while Hiei had won three times. Hiei had felt great relief, as he nodded to kiren thanks as he slipped his cloak back on and returned to the chambers.

He would meet Mukuro, back at the chambers. She seemed to be like herself, and attempted to have a conversation with him about the meeting. She knew as well as he did that he was not interested in that sort of thing and answered with plain questions. After crawling into bed he laid there as Mukuro had drifted off to sleep.

His mind filled with thousands of questions as he tossed and turned attempting to fall asleep. How would they defeat her brother, and when would things get back to normal. But he knew nothing could be normal, they had already made the greatest desertion they had became life mates and there was no turning back. Not many people were aware of there mateing. And only the selected few knew to keep there mouths shut.

He felt Mukuro shift on the bed turning onto her side, in the few moments she moved to her side he did the same turning on his side and pressing his back to hers. As he lay there, he felt the familiar energy connecting to his. he paused for a moment making sure he was right on the location of the power

He sat up quickly, as the bond between him and the energy was broken he placed his hand on her smaller stomach as he felt the energy attach again. He had felt something that he had never felt before was this joy. Was he happy that Mukuro decided to keep the fetus? He had to make sure this was the fetus, not Mukuro�s body attempting to heal from losing the fetus. He laid his head on her stomach.

Hiei did not have as great of hearing, as the goat demon Yomi did. But he had pretty acute hearing, and focused on and heard the faint beating of the fetus heart. She had decided to keep it. He had been so focused on listening to the heart beat, that he lost focus on the world around him. Soon he would feel a small soft hand touching the side of his face, it was obese that Mukuro was not full asleep, and he was a little embarrassed.

"You are pleased Hiei?" She asked in a quite tone as she placed her hand back at her side. "It was your decision" he said but couldn't help smirking. The dark hid most of there physical language but emotionally the both felt the strange emotions of joy. The erithmacal is on the counter in the bathroom" this was Mukuro�s way of tell Hiei to return the unused poison to its rightful owner. He nodded as he got up fetching the poison and made great hast as he went for his dentations

the humans had changed rooms on him once again. It was so much easier, when the fox was staying in the largest room at the end of the hall. And it was harder, for him to find the fox. He resorted to his sense of smell, his nose led him to a newly built hall way as he came to the door, he opened it quickie and walked in.

He noticed the two figures in the large bed, there shapes lit by the flashing lights of the picture box; they both were familiar. The fox slept on the right side of the bed, closet to the door and the Baka Kuwabara slept on the left side of the bed.

He was spread out as the fox slept in the small craves of what was left of the bed. Hiei placed the vile on the end night stand along with a note. He felt great pity for the fox, and took the edge of his sheath and poked at the humans sides making him close his body more giving the fox more room to move. Soon after disappearing to be at Mukuro�s side.
Hiei smirked as he took his hand off Mukuro�s stomach; his patrolling had been done for the night so he could now get a good night rest. I couldn�t find comfort in her bed and sat up as he walked over to his chair and sat in it. This he found comfort in.

Soon after Hiei had left that night, Kurama felt the movement of the larger human; he was forced to share a bed with. Move as he now had more room to get comfortable. What also woke him was the sense of energy, he felt as he woke. He append his eyes, as he was blinded by the lights flashing on the television, he notched the object on the night stand he looked over at it took his half anchors self to realize what it was.

At that moment he sat up quickly, as he took the bottle and realized it was full. "Thank the gods" Kurama said, as a smile appeared on his face as he woke the sleeping teen "Huh?" Kuwabara said sleepily "Nothing Kuwabara go back to sleep" He said as he sat the bottle back down for some strange reason a huge wait had be lifted off of Kurama�s shoulders as he easily drifted back to sleep with more room to get comfortable on that�s to Hiei

Sorry about leaving you guys hanging for so long >.< a lot of crap went down with my laptop and in the end I ended up paying 317 dollars for something that the company messed up on V.v what ever happened to comster service.
