Chapter Three: A Plan Has Been Made

Josan`ne Akadi` glared out his window. He didn’t understand Kurama at all! “Damn that demon!” He snarled, and the other man laughed deeply.

“Calm yourself Josan`ne.” The man said with a smirk.

“Shut your fucking mouth, Kahyder! Don’t forget Hiei was also part of that kiss!” Josan`ne sneered. He had followed Hiei last night, but not quick enough. He arrived just as ‘his’ Kurama kissed Hiei. It angered him to no amount… but at least he was able to disappear without them noticing him…

“Your point? It just adds to our main plan.” Kahyder said with another smirk. He had gold-blue eyes and long midnight blue hair mixed with maroon streaks. He was a demon who could move faster than Hiei ever could, and an extraordinary swordsman.

“I can’t count on that plan to work!!! Fool—” Josan`ne started to complain, but paused… he knew better to call Kahyder a fool…

“Watch what you say… the plan will work, as long as you do what you’re told… The only way this plan won’t work is if you fuck it up…” Kahyder stated coolly. Then coldly hissed, “Like yesterday… if they would have seen you, they would have killed you! You’re too weak to take on Yoko, and you know it.” Josan`ne growled in anger, but said nothing. Both men returned their eye’s to the window as it began to rain…“It’s time…” Kahyder stated, then disappeared, Josan`ne quickly followed suit…

Kurama groaned as the woman in his store wouldn’t leave. The woman was taking forever! With an impatient sigh, he looked down at his watch. “Sir, I like this color. What do you think?” The woman asked with a slight frown, unsure. Kurama looked at the dress the woman held; it was a red, strapless evening gown. He glanced at the woman.

“Yes, that will look lovely on you madam; allow me to look for your correct size.” Kurama said with a slight bow, but was stopped immediately, by a high pitched wail.

“You think I’m fat! This is my size!” the woman pouted. Kurama looked at the dress the woman held; it was much too small for her not-so-small body.

“I’m sorry madam, I have been mistaken.” He said low, attempting to use his voice to add to his apology. She stood still a moment, and then accepted his apology.

“I’ll take this dress, Sir.” Now she was the impatient one as she marched up to the cash register. Kurama had to hold back his smile. He loved this store; it was quite famous from all of his designs. He sold dresses, both formal and everyday, and sometimes models even requested he make them a special dress. Kurama also sold suits, shoes, foreign clothes, and accessories. He even had the pleasure to meet someone very famous from time to time. He rang up her total, in which she paid then left. Kurama made himself busy as he closed his shop down for the night, allowing his thoughts to drift.

“Hiei…” he moaned slightly as he pulled the shades down on his store windows. The girl, who sometimes helped him, had already left. Kurama’s face began to turn red, as he thought of Hiei’s soft lip’s… Desire hit him fast and hard, stealing his breath away. Kurama instantly leaned against one of the counters. “Oh Hiei…” he whispered as he grew hard with need, quickly he shook his head. No, this couldn’t happen… He had never felt so strong for anyone. He tried to force himself to concentrate on Sara, but he felt nothing for her. With a broken sigh, he gathered up his bag and began to move towards the front door when it suddenly opened, and Hiei walked in.

“Kurama.” Hiei began, his voice was rasping, like it was forced, or strained.

“Hiei? Shouldn’t you be at work? Is there something wrong?” Kurama asked gently, as he put his bag down. He moved past Hiei to flip the open sign over to closed, then causally untucked his shirt to conceal his desire’s evidence.

“Kurama you need to stop running away.” Hiei stated.

“Running away?”

“Josan`ne will take all you think is important, you need to stop being so selfish and just go to him. I know about all those 'notes' he has been giving you.” Hiei grated out, not meeting Kurama’s eyes.

“What?! What are you talking about Hiei? What has gotten into you?!” Kurama asked in a small voice. Shock, anger, and confusion laced his tone.

“You know exactly what I mean; I won’t have my business jeopardized because of your weakness. He's promised to leave you alone if you go to him... right? If he leaves you alone, I won't recieve any more notes either. I can't afford your weakness, I won't loose this job. Go to him tonight.” Kurama was hurt, and tried to lock onto Hiei’s eyes, but he kept looking away.

“What do you mean about your business? Hiei look at me!” Kurama cried out confused.

“I will hate you if you do not go to him. My business is everything to me in this world. If you care about me or your mother you'll go to him tonight.”

“Hiei… What has he said to you? What has he done to make you act this way?” Kurama whispered as he placed his hand on Hiei’s shoulder.

“Don’t touch me,” Hiei jerked away, “Your touch sickens me. Stop being cowardly and go to him!” Kurama gasped, and his eye’s misted. Hiei turned his back to him. “Go to the man, and actually do something worth while.” Hiei sneered, then turned and stiffly left. Kurama could do nothing more than watch him walk away. What had happened? Thousands of questions flooded the kitsunes mind.

“Hiei…” Kurama groaned broken. He would have to go to Josan`ne… And stop being selfish. His mother and Hiei both gave him so much… He would do this for them. Placing his bag behind the counter, he walked out the front door, locking it behind him. Yes, he would do it, but not without a fight. Josan`ne must have threatened Hiei... Why else would he act like that? Kurama had received many of Josan`ne notes… ordering him to meet him here or there, but he had ignored all of them. He had wrote to Kurama that it would soon involve Hiei if he didn't obey him, but Kurama hadn't listened. If wasn't that he was being selfish... He just didn't want to deal with that man...

It seemed he could ignore the notes no more, with an angry sigh he titled his head up. First Josan`ne tricked his mother, then he threatened his pride… Now he had gotten to Hiei… With rage causing him to tremble slightly Kurama took the latest crumbled note out of his pocket. This one ordered him to meet him at Josan`ne’s home. “Josan`ne… you bastard. I’ll teach you to mess with me, and those I care for.” Kurama whispered angrily into the light rain, then stepped forward. What Kurama didn’t see as he walked forward was on the other side of his store Hiei watched him, with an evil smirk. Wisps of blue energy swiftly surrounded Hiei as he transformed back into his real self, Kahyder…

“So far, so good… ‘My’ little fox.” Kahyder smiled menacingly. This game was going to be interesting, and if all went well, accordingly Hiei would soon be his….
