Yusuke heard the horn honk from his bedroom. Quickly he slipped on his shoes and left out the room. He didn't want Kurama to have to wait on him, apparnetly there was something important he had to tell him.
Yusuke made his way through his front to Kurama's car. For some unusually reason Yusuke was nervous about going out with Kurama. Nervous. Yusuke. Yusuke was never nervous. Maybe he was just scared. But that didn't make sense either. He wasn't scared years ago when he first met Kurama so why would he be scared now. It wasn't as if Kurama was anything more than just a friend who wanted to confined in him. Even though Yusuke knew that was a possible solution, he knew it was a lie. Kurama ans Yusuke had been friends for a long time. Plus for the last couple years Yusuke ans Kurama had become closer and closer. Even though Kurama had shared a lot with Yusuke, he never really spoke of any problems he had. Yusuke couldn't help but think of all the possible things that could be wrong with Kurama. Yusuke shook his head trying to ignore his once again rushing thoughts. Yusuke arrived at the car and opened the door to see Kurama's calm and cool demeanour. "Hey." Yusuke said as he slipped into the car. "Hello to you as well Yusuke-kun." Yusuke looked at Kurama and studied his face. 'Why is he so calm 'Yuske thought. "Is there a problem Yusuke? You seem to be awfully interested in my face today." Yusuke turned a deep shade of red before harshly jerking his eyes away from Kurama's face. Yusuke heard Kurama chuckle at his actions but pretended he didn't. He let his thoughts drift back to its wondering question. What does Kurama want? Yusuke once again stole a glance at Kurama's face. He saw the calm like grin that sat upon the red heads features. Another question poped in his mind. How can Kurama be so calm? Yusuke thought Kurama had something important to tell him. He if Kurama was serious he'd have his signature, unreadable expression on. Maybe what Kurama wanted to tell him wasn't as bad as he thought. Maybe it was actually something good. Yusuke settled down and relaxed as Kurama pulled out of his drive way and started towards the restaurant. --------- Yusuke got out the car and looked up at the restaurant. "Are you serious?" Kurama looked over at Yusuke, hearing his outbrust, to make sure he was okay. "Is there something wrong Yusuke? Do you not like this place?" Kurama asked staring at Yusuke with and unreadable emotion. Yusuke quickly shook away his shock, "No this is cool." Kurama nodded and motioned for Yusuke to follow him into the restaurant. Inside Yusuke and Kurama were greeted by a beautiful young woman at the front desk. She had chocolate brown eyes and long flowing brown hair. The woman wore a navy blue vest with a matching skirt. She looked young, no more than 25, around the same age as Yusuke himself. She had a warm greeting smile on her face as she looked over Yusuke. Yusuke returned her smile. Out the corner of his eye Yusuke could see Kurama's face. For some reason Kurama looked irratated. "Hi I'm Casady." The women looked as if her full attention was on Yusuke. "How many will be in your party today?" The woman said openly batting her eyes at Yusuke. Yusuke opened his mouth to answer but was cut off by a pissed off Kurama. "Just the two of us thank you." The woman looked over at Kurama then turned back to Yusuke. "Follow me please." The women led the two to a table a bit far off from everyone else. She waited for the men to sit down before once again looking at Yusuke. " If there is anything you need please don't be afraid to ask." Kurama cut off Casady with a quick wave of his hand and a rude cut of his voice," Thank you we will." The women quickly walked away to avoid the man's rude way of dismissing her. Yusuke watched the women walk away, before turning to Kurama. He noticed that Kurama's had slipped back into the unreadable stare. "Man what was up with you being so rude to that woman?" Kurama looked over at Yusuke but didn't answer immeditaly. He was still a little mad at the aura of the women. Apparently as soon as she saw Yusuke she liked him. Kurama didn't like that at all. Yusuke was suppose to be his. No one elses. Kurama tried to shake away the feelings of jealousy and rage that gripped his mind. Turning towards Yusuke ha replied in a matter of fact tone. "I didn't like her aura." Yusuke could see that Kurama didn't care to explain, but he wanted to know what Kurama was talking about. "What do you mean you didn't like her aura?" Kurama looked at Yusuke and decided Yusuke deserved to know. For what reason he knew not. " She liked you, Yusuke." "And the problem with that was." "She doesn't know know you she has not the right of it." Kurama's voice slipped back into it's old tongue. Yusuke knew it meant Kurama was mad. So he just left it alone and decided to approach the topic later. But he wondered if Kurama's words had double meaning to them. ------------ Kurama tried to pull himself together. He had come to this restaurant to deliver a message and damn it he was going to. Kurama internally shook his. "Well so what is it you wanted?" Kurama also jumped at Yusuke's voice. He heard the hesitation in the boys voice, he could see how stiff th boy got. "It's nothing bad Yusuke. I just wanted to talk to you." "About what?" Kurama looked at Yusuke and as he was about to talk he saw their waitress. " I think we should wait until after we order." Yusuke saw the woman and quickly agreed. The two quickly ordered their food already knowing what they wanted. After waiting another ten minutes their food was brought to them. They thanked the waitress and dismissed her. "Okay. I'm ready. Tell me." Yusuke was anxious to hear what Kurama had to tell him. He wondered what Kurama wanted to tell them that they had to come to this restaurant. Kurama looked at Yusuke for a full minute before he had gained his confidence. Since he didn't know how to tell Yusuke what he wanted to tell him he decided he just let it flow. "Yusuke, we've been friends for along time. I've always been there to support you right." "Yea man you help me when Keiko died." Yusuke had finally gotten pass Keiko but it was thanks to Kurama. "My point is, we've been though a lot together. So I feel I can tell you this." Kurama saw the confused look on Yusuke's face. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath."Yusuke I've fallen in love with you. I've always had feelings for you but at first I tried to ignore them. But after spending so much time with you, I accept my feelings for you now." When Kurama had finished he opened his eyes and was met by Yusuke's blank expression. Kurama wanted to know what yusuke was thinking." Yusuke?" "I'm ready to go home Kurama." Yusuke answer without a hint of emotion. He stood up from the table and walked out the door. Kurama paid the bill and followed Yusuke out. Yusuke was sitting in the car looking out the window. The whole car ride to Yusuke's house was quiet. Kurama decided not to disturb Yusuke because he knew he had given the boy a lot to think about. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
