AN: If you're familiar with my stuff you know my policy concerning cursing. For those of you who aren't familiar, I don't do it in real life therefore I find it difficult to type the words out. It makes it a bit tough, I know, when the characters I deal with are known for cursing. I also know you might consider it weird, but it's my policy and I'm not going to change it. Not being rude or obnoxious, just stating a fact.

Four - "If Only The Good Die Young..?"
Yusuke turns from the mirror in his bathroom. He'd just finished up the last part of his bedtime ritual. He'd taken a few moments to stare at his reflection. Sure, his features had matured over the decades, but he would never show the normal signs of aging that a human would at his age. Let's face it, no humans would ever even reach his age.
He was what now? Two, three hundred and some change? He mumbles to himself as he makes his way to his bed, "If only the good die young, what does that say about me?"
But of course he's alone so nobody's around to answer him. He'd watched all his human friends go through their own processes. Others are too busy now and seldom come around. He, himself, has little time for doing anything other than running his own Territory.
Another thought gives Yusuke pause as he reaches his bed. 'So this is how it ends. Alone. In my sleep.' The former Detective ponders this thought a moment or two, then finally gives a weary sigh, "Ah well. We've had a h--- of a run haven't we, Old Man?" Yusuke then turns out the lamp on the stand beside his bed, climbs into it, gets comfortable, and slips off into a sleep he won't wake up from in the morning.
