Chapter 5:
Closer and closer

Note:
Since they deleted me the last chapter here I
am pissed now!
They also deleted all the wonderful reviews and
I don�t find that funny!
This is only the missing chapter, the next is
in work, I have more drawn lately.

I do work on that, the entire time
I have time for doing it. However, in the moment I simply have none for it.
Christmas is coming up, I have to work more, then anything now, and my daughter
needs me too.
After the ninth of this month, I
have finally holidays, thanks god!

After the
night broke dawn on the strange group of travelers, all of them decided to make
a camp and rest.
The entire day had been a constant struggle to
stay alive!
Nearly each and every second, the group of
fighters got under an attack of some stranger demons.

Kazuma mused about this many times since they
had finally settled down to find some rest. He was certain that something was
not right on this all and so he began to speak with Byakko about this all.
� What do you think about this many attacks today?
I am not sure but I bet someone have send them�!�
Byakko nodded his white head and gave a grunt
of approval to his partner. The white tiger had thought the same all the day,
at least there had been more then sixteen attacks until sundown, and he was
sure; someone wanted them death!
He had a good idea of who wanted them
all death but he staid quite and did not say a word. The tiger demon knew, as
good as anyone else here, who it was and it was not necessary to be spoken out.
Kazuma beside him had begun to nibble on the nail of his right thump, a bad
habit of his human partner that only showed itself when Kazuma was more as only
nervous.

Without a warning, the tiger snatched the hand
away from Kazumas mouth and secured it away from the human�s teeth in his hold.
He earned himself a nasty glare from the blushing human beside him for it.

Kazuma was beery red by now; he hated himself
for doing this but had the dammed demon to snatch his hand away and to hold it
in such a harsh grip?!
In front of every one else? How embarrassing
was that!
He tucked twice on his arm to get it back
before he gave up with a sight, the tiger seemingly was contend to hold it
there, much to his disappointment and the others amusement.
The last attack, right before the sun had set,
had been the worst.
Hagiri, normally one of the fastest of his
group found himself confronted with a deadly speed demon. Not as fast, as Hiei
was it, but fast enough to nearly out maneuver the human fighter! If Jin had
not reacted fast enough and taken the fighter with him high in the air, sniper
would have been death meat!
In the end, the human had shot him from above
and killed the fast demon but it was too close this time.

Kazuma watched the second Shinobi, Touya
tending his friend�s injuries. He has looked after his own also and was, in
Kazumas opinion, a very good nurse replacement.
He chuckled at the thought, Byakko next to him
seem to have followed his thought and shoot him an amused smile.
Both stuck their heads together to hide their
laughs but failed immensely in their tries. Only seconds later the unsuspecting
pair suddenly jumped up from the ground�or wanted to jump.
Because the entire ground, just below their
backsides was suddenly covered in a thick layer of ice!
In addition, said ice froze their Asses
perfectly to the floor.

Touya watched with a very tiny smile, etching
on the corners of his thin lips the two fighter�s curse at him for this.
Both would stuck to the ground for several
minutes before his ice powers would let them loose again.
He had seen the two look at him and sniper and
it needed not a mind reader to put one and one together to know what these two
trouble makers had running through their minds!
His answer came promptly and he watched now
with unmasked satisfaction the two struggles against his ice powers.

Above the ice master, Jin practically rolled
through the air in his laughter about the antics of the two below him.
They gave a funny picture in their tries to get
up from the cold ground and their curses where priceless!
His laughter echoed through the silent woods.

Sniper could only stare at the two then to
Touyas smuck smile (if you could call it one) and then to Jin in the air.
Shaking his black head, the human allowed a equally
tiny smile to grace his lips and his nearly lavender colored eyes took a deeper
shade at the sight the two in front of him gave him.

He knew the two must have done something to
make Touya of all people, freeze them to the floor but what ever it was, he was
just glad that the strange tension from before have seem to vanish with the
laughter between them all.
The gash on his stomach was not that bad but it
was not lightly either!
This speed demon had remembered the young
spirit user of Hiei. Back then, when the fire yokai had saved Yusuke from his
grasp and stuck him with his damned katana!

The fire demon had been too fast for his
bullets and so Hagiri ended up on his sword, quite literally.
Now, years later, the young man was only glad
that the hi-yokai had spared him that day.
It was clear for the human that someone in
Reikei wanted to see all them death!
He mused it was the elder one of the two but
that did not matter for Hagiri. All what mattered for him was that he staid
alive.
And his friends too�
That it had must be the ice demon that had to
nurse his wounds was another thought that disturbed his inner peace momentary!

Damn, did this yokai it on purpose or was it
just his imagination that had fooled him?
He could swear, the demons hands had brushed
against health parts of his skin much too often for a proper excuse!
To his luck he had not reacted too much on this
but that he nearly had�that was something that disturbed him greatly.
The demon had a much too soft skin.
The human had found himself back to actually
enjoy the accidentally touches more as he had wanted it!

Beside the human, Touja asked himself idly why
the hell he did that!!!
He covered his confusion about his own doings
behind the stony mask he always wearied in front of others.
It worked much to his relive and so he found
now the time to think over this all a little closer as before.
He knew he was somehow attracted to the human
beside him but why was the question.
Beside Touya, the human fighter slowly settled
down to get some rest and he watched the almond shaped eyes of the human slowly
close in his fatigue.

The young man was really a beauty�
With these eyes and the slender body, the human
fighter was a picture of grace and beauty. Touya found himself increasingly
drawn to the human beside him as longer his cold and iris less eyes watched the
ningen.
He was as quit as Touya mostly was it. He had
followed the ningens moves the entire day with his eyes. It came in handy to
have eyes like his! Nobody could really say where he was looking at without to
know him good enough.
Jin could, out of many years of experience but
every one other had problems with that.

Finally, the two across the fire could stand up
again. Mumbling curses so they would not wake their seemingly sleeping companion
up accidentally, they walked arc ward some minutes around to warm up in their
lower body parts again!
They both gave the ice yokai nasty glares and
vowed revenge on Touya the entire time.
The ice demon in question only shrugged his
small shoulders and settled against the stone behind him to close his eyes too
for a little nap.

Across the fire Kazuma colorfully painted out
in his mind what he wanted to do to the petite ice master after he got his
hands on the damned demon!
Beside him, Byakko had equally thoughts running
through his mind. However, he was soon distracted from them when he watched
Kazuma walk in the direction of the lake they earlier spotted on their way
here.
He knew his human partner hated it to be dirty
and took every opportunity he could get to clean himself.
It was one of the things; Byakko loved the most
on the ningen. Being a tiger demon and so part of the feline family brought
this with it.
The tiger decided he could have use for a bath
too and followed Kazuma to the lake in silence.

When he got there he was greet with a surprise,
the human had stripped down and was just halfway in the cold water.
Watching for several minutes, the tiger had a
hard time not to simply jump at the ningen and take what he wanted from the
youth.
He wanted the human partner of him come
willingly in his lair and not forced!

Finally, back in control of his body again, he
got out of the surrounding woods and silently joined a surprised Kazuma in the
cold water.
The tiger hissed, how could the ningen stand it
to swim in this fu�cold water???
Kazuma only chuckled at his discomfort and
turned around to swim a round more. The fully view of the naked demons body had
brought him a problem. He was thankful that he was in the cold lake where the
water took fast care of it!

After swimming two times more around the entire
lake, he was suddenly addressed from a deep and smooth voice;

�Well, well�what do we have here? Hello
Kuwabara!�
Hiei stand with a smuck grin etching on the
corners of his lips near to Kazumas spot on the shore of the lake and watched
with amusement the two inside the much too cold water. The look the tiger gave
his former team partner all the time he swam around in the fu� cold water
amused the tiny looking demon to no end!
How the boy could stand this cold water was a
miracle to the head loving fire demon and to judge from his servants shudders
he could watch beside him, they asked themselves the same question currently!
A small snort escaped Hiei at this.
� I will meet you both at your camp.
We have much to discus!�
With that the demon and his followers where of
and leaved a cursing Kazuma and a bewildered tiger behind them in the lake.

At the nearly same time, Touya suddenly sensed Hiei's
youki coming towards them seconds before the demon came in their clearing. The
small yokai had not changed much from before. He wore a bluish tunic and his
trademark black pants. His katana was a fine piece of master craft mend ship
and was hold in place from a belt around his waist.
New on Hiei where only two odd looking
bracelets on both arms and that he did not wear any wards on his right arm. The
bracelets seem to do the job now for the wards. His third eye was covered as
usual with a white bandana but even that one seems to glow slightly with the
power of the jagan behind it.

To Touya, the demon lord to be, looked healthy
and more powerful as ever before.
Surprised, the ice demon found his right hand
back on the shoulder of Hagiri beside him and Jin!
Without to notice it happen, Touya�s hand had
laid down here in a manner of protection. After he had first sensed the fire
demon�s arrival approaching. It stirred the ningen out of his sleep instantly,
who was now curiously eying the said hand.
He removed it without a word and stood up to
greet the heir of Mukuro properly.

Hiei missed not what the ice child did.
Inwardly the diminutive demon arched a fine
brow at this and looked at the ice demon without any emotion shown on the
outward face.
`That will be an interesting talk, indeed! `
