A/N:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yeah, I know 13 days over due ^^; hahaha but this is the first chapter of the New Year! Plus its the long awaited one as well! This took a while I know, to get out. However, I was stuck at how to make the fight scene ^^; it was hard but then I thought of where I wanted to go and well...once I wrote out the fight scene it just was easy to write the rest. I actually finished (after the fight scene) this chapter today ^^; ahahah I hope you guys enjoy this. Now to my ONLY review I had from the last chapter.

Dazekitshoney: Omg! You have to promise me youll keep going! I really want to see if we finally hook up with Kuwa-chan! Lol

Chapter 52: The Beast With In

“What the blazes is going on! Is that...Urameshi?! And is THAT (YAFF)?!” Kuwabara shouted as you were now standing next to a changed Yusuke.

You were both standing across from Sensui, in what seemed to be your demon forms. You had stopped singing and were staring down Sensui with the same evil smile Yusuke was carrying at the moment.

Sensui could feel a chill shiver down his spine at the looks he was getting; and the weird energy that was coming off both Yusuke and you.

“Now, let's finish this.” came a voice that sounded like your and Yusuke's mixed with something else.

If you had heard it yourself; you would have said it sounded like it came from a horror movie; however, you were the one making that horror movie voice. You scream as your body powers up, as Yusuke's own powered up and the two of you vanished in a blink of an eye.

~Caught up in this madness too blind to see

Woke animal feelings in me

Took over my sense and I lost control

I'll taste your blood tonight~

(You were right behind Sensui, as Yusuke appeared in front of him. Sensui's eyes had widened and before he could react, you both punched him; Yusuke in the stomach and you in the back. Sensui opened his mouth however nothing came out except for a mix of spit and blood.)

~You know I make you wanna scream

You know I make you wanna run from me baby

but now it's too late you've wasted all your time~

(Yusuke then grabbed him by his neck and smirked at Sensui. He tossed him into the air and you jumped up after him. You did a flip in the air and did a flying spinning back kick to Sensui's face. His body did a spinning spiral towards the earth. However, before his body could crash Yusuke appeared in front of him and grabbed him and spun him around in the air and tossed him back into the air.)

~Relax while you're closing your eyes to me

So warm as I'm setting you free

With your arms by your side there's no struggling

Pleasure's all mine this time~

(You were somehow still in the air and had caught the flying Sensui by his arm and swung him around as you seemed to fly towards some rocks. You swung Sensui hard into the rocks, causing it to break apart and fly into the air. Sensui lay there on the rocks for a moment, his body covered in bruises and cuts. Blood was coming from the corner of his mouth.)

~You know I make you wanna scream

You know I make you wanna run from me baby

but now it's too late you've wasted all your time~

(However, Yusuke and your evil plans for this man wasn't over with. Yusuke came over calmly and kicked the man in the stomach, causing a bone crushing sound as Sensui's body broke the rock even more into pieces underneath him. Blood spat out of his mouth as he coughed violently.)

~Cherishing, those feelings pleasuring

Cover me, unwanted clemency

Scream till there's silence

Scream while there's life left, vanishing

Scream from the pleasure unmask your desire

perishing~

(Yusuke then picked up the man from his leg and swung him around again and tossed him up into the air. You had a sadistic look and smile on your face as you jumped into the air again and grabbed the man's arm and began to punch him in his face, gut, and other regions. You kept going over and over and faster and harder with each punch. You finally ended it and let him go 'gently'.)

~We've all had a time where we've lost control

We've all had our time to grow

I'm hoping I'm wrong but I know I'm right

I'll hunt again one night~

(As the man's lifeless body fell to the earth, Yusuke laughed an evil laugh that sent chills down all that were watching, with wide eyes and terror.

“Toast my toenails! Is that...is that really Urameshi? And what happened to YAFF-chan?” Kuwabara said, in shock.

“I can't say what triggered it, but it seems he's awakened...completely. And in turn has awaken the demon blood in YAFF-chan as well. I never realized he had so much untapped power. His ancestor must've been a battle God. Senusi's only human. He's no match for it.” Yoko Kurama said.

They continued to watch in awe and confusion as the battle raged on.)

(Yusuke let the man fall and hit the ground, however, he didn't let the man lay there. He picked him up by the arm and spun him around again; tossing him into the air once more; but this time following behind him.)

(Yusuke kicked him in his side sending him further in the air. You appeared behind him and did a spinning back kick into his face, causing him to be sent back towards Yusuke. Yusuke grabbed his arm and spun him around and into a near by flying rock; which had gone airborne from the power coming off you and Yusuke.)

(It seemed the two of you where playing a game of 'catch' as Yusuke threw the body back your way and you would kick him back. Then Yusuke finally stopped the little 'game' as he grabbed Sensui by his head and began to pound his own head into the man's skull, over and over, harder and harder. He then crashed them both into the earth below. Dust covered the area, as your body floated down. Once your feet had landed, you walked over to the dust cloud, still singing. Yusuke stood up and looked down with a smile that made Sensui's eyes; which were swollen, open wide.)

You picked up the limp Sensui by his leg and swung him around before tossing him into the air one last time. Yusuke's finger charged up and slowly pointed up at the spinning Sensui. His arms were out as if he was nailed to a cross. Yusuke smirked as did you before he released a powerful spirit gun blast towards the spinning Sensui.

It was here that you and Yusuke seemed to wake up from your senses. Yusuke's eyes widened as did your own as you watched in terror at the major blast heading straight towards Sensui's hurling body.

“DODGE IT, SENSUI! DODGE IT!!” Yusuke screamed.

As you looked around you, you were more than confused and even more so as to why Yusuke told Sensui to dodge the blast. You weren't the only one as everyone in the air watching was confused.

However, Sensui turned to Yusuke with a smile and a small laugh. He closed his eyes and the powerful blast hit him dead on; sending him flying back into the earth and skidding across the landscape, crushing everything in his path.

“YOU IDIOT!” screamed Yusuke before chasing after the man.

You followed suit. You were so confused at what had happened. On minute you were on the back of Puu and the next you are next to Yusuke, who looked different. He had strange markings all over his body and his normally short hair was wild and a little past his ass. However, all you could focus on was finding out what had happened.

You and Yusuke had left a very confused group behind; sitting on the floating Puu's back.

“Why's he so worked up? He WON!! Sure, (YAFF)-chan helped; but still, it was that uber reigun blast. It hit Sensui dead center!” Kuwabara said, confused and a bit frustrated.

He wanted to go back home, take a long relaxing shower, and cuddle with you. Yes, he was still afraid of his feelings he had for you; however, he had lost you today. It was a miracle that you had come back. He thought he had lost you forever. However, you hadn't died, or rather you were brought back from what he had gathered. It was like the world was giving him a second chance to do things right this time around. He had made himself promise that no matter what happened from this point on, he would gather up the courage to tell you how he felt and everything else that had weighted on his mind the whole time you had been here.

Kuwabara's thoughts were interrupted by Koenma's voice.

“Get going Puu!” he said, urgency in his voice.

He was worried about you and Yusuke as well. He had never seen such display of power along with sadistic fighting. Not even demons would be that cruel. He was starting to doubt you and Yusuke could control the demon energy with in you both. Koenma closed his eyes and cleared his mind. He couldn't think that. He knew you and Yusuke better than that. The scene back in the cave had shown him that you and Yusuke were the same people. He opened his eyes and kept his focus on what lied ahead.

Yoko followed behind with his own flying contraption. He had been thinking along the same lines as Koenma. He couldn't believe the pure power and sadism you and Yusuke had displayed when beating up Sensui. It wasn't like you or Yusuke. Sure he was a fight junkie; but not cruel like many other fight junkies. No. There was something more, and he could feel it the moment your body began to glow. There was something else there. It could be the demonic power being released. However, Yoko didn't believe that, even if Kurama did.

They looked down and stared in disbelief at the path Yusuke reigun had made when it hit Sensui.

“Wow that gash! It goes all the way to the horizon! How could anyone survive that?” Kuwabara said, looking a bit disturbed but in awe at the same time.

They followed the path til they reached the spot Sensui's body had stopped.

“There!” Koenma shouted and pointed.

Puu landed behind you and Yusuke.

Yusuke was on top of Sensui, grabbing what was left of his shirt. You were kneeling next to Sensui's left looking between Yusuke and Sensui. Yusuke was pissed. You had realized what had happened while you had rushed off after Yusuke. You remembered a few things that had happened while you had 'blanked out'. You had remembered hearing a voice and feeling your body move. You had realized that you and Yusuke had been taken control of by some un-known force.

You could understand why Yusuke was upset. He hadn't beaten Sensui. It was his body but not his own conscious being that did it. What made it worse; was you had helped unconsciously to kill a fellow human being.

You have killed demons without even thinking about them. You had fought demons without thinking about what if you would kill them. That made you sick inside. What made humans better than demons? You were friends with two. You knew that they had families, that they had feelings. There wasn't anything different from a human and from a demon. Now, you were partially one. It struck a nerve and you hated yourself for not realizing it before that moment.

Yusuke shook Sensui.

“Sensui wake up! Open your eyes! C'mon! This isn't how its suppose to go!” Yusuke screamed desperately.

Kuwabara rushed up behind Yusuke. He stopped and looked at the scene in confusion and disbelief.

“What're you talking about Urameshi?! Don't you see? You've won!” Kuwabara growled.

In the blink of an eye, Kuwabara flew backwards from an upper cut to his jaw from one Yusuke Urameshi. He stood fuming in front of Sensui, you still kneeling next to the man. You heard a soft groan and looked over. His eye were slightly opened.

You held Sensui's hand and looked into his glazed over eyes. You looked deep in those eyes and realized that he had felt the same way; that he didn't really hate humans or demons. However, you couldn't understand why he did what he did, it made no sense.

No one noticed Sensui being awake, as Yusuke was shouting.

“That wasn't me! I mean it was but it wasn't! I wasn't there when I fired that blast! I only saw it fly!” Yusuke shouted.

Kuwabara groaned and sat up, growling at his best bud. He stood up and rubbed his jaw while walking towards Yusuke. However before he could say anything Sensui coughed up some blood. That scared you and you jumped and let go of his hand. He had smiled up at you right before he coughed. It had struck a nerve within you. It made you feel so horrible about his dying. You were feeling compassion for this man, who tried to kill you, Kuwabara and try to destroy the entire world. Your senses kicked in and you couldn't feel anything emitting from this man; nothing evil. Somewhere along the way, Sensui's multi-personalities seemed to have vanished. What was left was the original host, whose energy was pure and good.

“Sensui!” Yusuke shouted and knelt on the other side of the man.

He stared down at the dying man, growling in frustration at he couldn't do anything. Then an idea hit him and he turned pleading and hopefully eyes towards Yoko Kurama who stood behind you. Koenma stood next to Kuwabara who stood at the dying man's feet.

“Kurama, what about your herbs?! Don't you have any that will heal him?!” Yusuke asked desperately.

Yoko looked down at the beaten man. He seemed to take a look over the injuries with a grim look to him.

“His injuries are too...fatal. I can only help ease his pain.” Yoko said with a small shake of his head.

He turned his eyes to Yusuke's wide eyes.

“There's no need.” came a voice behind Yusuke.

You looked up, yours widen as well. Everyone turned to the voice and found Itsuki coming out of a random black hole that opened in the demon world. Itsuki looked a mess. He had a huge scar starting above his right eye and making its way all the way down to the middle of his chest. It wasn't deep enough to kill him, but it had slightly deformed him a bit.

“ITSUKI?!” everyone shouted.

“It was his time.” said the injured man as he came out from the hole, which disappeared the moment he stepped out of it.

“Whaddaya mean? Stay outta this! This doesn't count! Blast it, he owes me a re-match!” Yusuke growled, as he stood up.

He clenched his hands at his side and had a snarl to his lips. You looked up at Itsuki and saw the emotional and physical pain the man was in. It was obvious that he had really loved Sensui. No matter how much he had boasted that he loved to 'taint' this human. You could tell that it wasn't that, it was more than that.

“He only had two weeks left anyway.” Itsuki said in a weak voice.

“What?” everyone said with wide eyes.

Your own eyes were wider than any one else. You looked back down at Sensui whose eyes were closed again. His breathing was slow and raged.

“Two weeks?” you whispered.

“To live?” Yusuke said with wide eyes.

“Yes, he suffers from aggressive malignant tumors. Dr. Kamiya diagnosed him. A normal human would've died of the condition long ago.” Itsuki explained.

You were able to get a good look at the man. He still looked beautiful, however the scar that went across his right eye caused it to not open. His hair was in his face, and his face looked sad but serious.

“Is this true?” Yusuke asked in shock.

You heard a grunt and looked back down at Sensui, his eyes had opened again. He stared up at the sky with a day dream look about him.

“Yes...” came his weak voice.

Everyone turned to look at the dying man as he spoke possibly his last words.

“But...no excuse. Your and.....that girl's power...was superior.” Sensui said.

Your eyes widened and you shook your head. Yusuke was back on his knees next to Sensui.

“NO! That WASN'T me! I was out! I wasn't HERE!” Yusuke shouted.

“I was unconscious too! I didn't mean to interfere! I didn't want to hurt anyone!” you said with sadness.

You didn't want to kill anyone, not anymore. Fighting was different. You didn't mind the fight, but killing; you didn't want to be a killer. Everyone you had fought, you hadn't killed. Suzaku was finished off by Yusuke. Shishi passed out. Sawarmu also passed out. Toguro was killed by Yusuke. All of the demons you fought, none of them you had killed. Sensui was the first enemy you had killed and it was a human. You could feel your heart tighten. How twisted was this? The irony of killing a human after all the demons you had faced; only to end up turning into a demon yourself. You couldn't look at the man and looked away.

“Your subconscious was here, and it could control that power quite well. It was you...and (YLN)...no other...who finished me.” Sensui said.

“That's not good enough! You know that and you know I wanted to do it ALONE!” Yusuke growled.

“You still have two weeks! You can rally! Take painkillers if you have to!”

“Yeesh...” gulped Kuwabara, finding what Yusuke saying wasn't sane.

You stayed quiet as you found your voice frozen in your throat. You could feel it burning. You felt ready to cry. This wasn't right. You felt violated. You were taken advantage by some unknown power. It made you do something that you weren't willing to do. You knew that if you opened your mouth you would burst out crying. You closed your eyes and lowered your head.

Yoko noticed this and raised an eyebrow at you. Before he could move towards you, Yusuke caught his attention.

“Can't you do something Koenma? You're all powerful aint'cha?!” Yusuke said desperately turning to Koenma.

“Perhaps if I still had the aura stored in the seal ring, but I don't. Shinobu saw to that I'm afraid. Even so, I'm not sure if it would be enough, or in time.” Koenma said.

Yusuke raised an eye brow at the lord of the underworld's son.

“You saved....” Sensui started making everyone look at him again; you however had your hands clenched on your thighs with your eyes closed slowly breathing and keeping yourself calm.

“save...Amanuma then. Heh...just as I planned.” Sensui said with a small smile on his lips.

“Your seal ring...I had to deal with that, get you....to waste....your aura...before you used the ring.” Sensui said.

Koenma knelt next to you but closer to Sensui's head.

“But why? Why did you want the portal?” Koenma asked, sadness and confusion in his voice and face.

You kept your eyes closed but were listening to what was being said around you.

“I want to reach....the demon plane...that's all.” Sensui said.

“When I was a child, I wondered about many things. 'Why are these creatures only I can see? Why do they hate me? Why are they always trying to kill me?' I learned to fight them, but I...never got answers to those questions.” Sensui began to explain.

Your mind began to wander, you began to see into Sensui's mind, his memories. You could have stopped yourself, because of your training with Kurama. However, you wished to keep watching them.

You saw a younger Sensui, a boy who looked 10 years old. He was innocent and sweet. However, the blood splatter across his jacket and shirt contradicted his innocent.

“I must be a chosen warrior of justice.” said the boy Sensui.

“They must be evil forces out to harm humankind!” said the boy Sensui.

“My simplistic dualism....so naive...slaughtering those creatures....I got use to the carnage...” came the adult voice of Sensui before his memory disappeared from his mind.

“I believed that....there was good...and there was evil....that wars were fought between the evil...and the just. Such things were easy....but it was....wrong. Humans know nothing of justice. I hated that failing....and that I shared in it.” Sensui said.

Your eyes opened with realization. That was it. That was what you felt when you looked into Sensui's eyes earlier. He was looking for repentance for his crimes against demons. He was looking to free his soul for the guilt of possibly killing hundreds of innocent demons for the sake of 'mankind'. He wanted to free his soul from this burden he had carried for too long.

“I yearned...for a heritage....from the demon plane. That yearning drew me, called me....commanded me. When I found out I had little time left...I felt a strange liberation. The barrier tunnel was....my little gift to the demon world. All I wanted was to die here.” Sensui said.

Everyone was silent, not knowing what to say.

“Urameshi...” Sensui said to Yusuke, who looked down at him with anticipation.

“You truly reveled in our fight....so did I...if only for a moment.” he said before turning to you.

Your eyes widened, it was getting harder to hold back the tears.

“(YLN)....you learned more about yourself....from this and...you taught me about myself in turn.” Sensui gave you a smile.

You couldn't hold the small tear that fell down your cheek.

“Thank you....both of you. Next time...let me be born...a demon...” Sensui said.

He took in one last breath before his eyes closed and finally his head tilted to the side. You couldn't hold in the tears any longer and broke down. You covered your face with your dirty and dried blood hands. You should have hated the man, but you couldn't. He wasn't evil, he was turned and twisted by the world and how messed up it was. However, it was too late to save him. He had gotten what he wanted. However, to you it wasn't fair and it wasn't right.

Everyone stood up, except you. The only sound heard were your sobs. Kuwabara looked at you, his heart full of confusion and pain at seeing you cry. However, he was confused as to why you were crying, why would you be crying for a man who tried to kill you and himself.

Yoko looked at you and his heart broke. He couldn't understand why you were crying either, but he assumed it was the fact Sensui had thanked you for helping to kill him. He knew that you were the kind soul that didn't want to hear such a thing like that.

Yusuke looked down at Sensui's limp body and looked at your weeping form. He was concerned for you but he couldn't understand why you would be crying.

Hiei was still asleep and was none the wiser of what was going on.

Koenma felt like he himself wanted to cry. Sensui wasn't his first underworld detective, but he had been closer to him than many of the others; just as close as he was to Yusuke. However, he felt it was his fault that Sensui had ended up this way and had died the way he had. He took a few steps forward towards the limp body.

“Shinobu...” he whispered.

“Stay back.”

Koenma stopped. Everyone turned to watch Itsuki walked up to the limp body of his master and lover. He lifted up his body slipped Sensui's arm around his shoulder and took a strong hold onto his limp lover's body.

“It's over isn't it? So leave him, let him rest...” Itsuki said with a possessive glare.

He looked down at you. He could tell that you weren't crying for your own 'crimes' but for Sensui. He smiled slightly for the kindness you had shown and the understanding you had.

“Show no more pity for him.” he said, causing you to stop your crying and look up at him with tears still in your eyes.

“He's happier now than he ever has.” Itsuki said, showing with his eyes that he meant those words and that even tho he didn't like you, he had respect for you at your own respect.

You sniffle and wiped your eyes with your dirty arm. You realized he was right. There was no reason to cry. All you could do was use what you had learned from this and not make the same mistakes that Sensui made and not let the truth consume you as it did Sensui. Even if Itsuki may not have meant that, you knew that it was what you needed to do. You nodded and dried your tears.

Itsuki turned back to the rest of the group with a 'don't you dare follow me' look.

“Koenma, he had no wish to go to the underworld. He cared nothing for your values. His soul is not yours to claim.” Itsuki said staring straight into Koenma's eyes.

“We'll deal with eternity our way, just the two of us. This business of living has grown tiresome. Go! Find another enemy in your eternal struggle.” Itsuki said, as his body and Sensui's were surrounded by a weird light before the two vanished into another realm.

You all stared at the spot where Sensui and Itsuki had disappeared at in silence.

“Geeze...” Yusuke growled looking annoyed. “It's like my opponent just.....ran away.”

“More so he went to another dimension.” you commented standing up and letting out a sigh.

You were feeling much better. All you needed was a good cry. It seems that this entire 'mission' or 'season' or whatever it was called, was a drain on you emotionally. You felt weak and wanted to pass out like Hiei. However, there were many things that you wanted answered. Such as, who had taken control of you and Yusuke and what about your now 'demon' side. What would that mean back in the human world? Would you have demonic cravings to eat humans? Or would you change in your personality? You were worried about all of those things.

“Its the same result no matter how you look at it. In the end....he achieved his goal.” Yoko said, slowly finding himself growing tired himself and Kurama wanting to come out.

Kurama has been quiet most of the time he was locked within Yoko. He was more of an observer. However, he wished to come out of his 'prison' and check on you and Yusuke. He also wanted to just have control of his body back. However, he knew that if he was released in the demon world it wouldn't be healthy for his human body. The atmosphere in this part of the demon world was toxic to humans. It was even toxic for certain demons. Only demons of strong will and enormous power could live in this part of demon world. The part where he had brought you and Kuwabara wasn't as toxic as this area. He was amazed that Kuwabara was still on his feet.

However, he figured it was because of Kuwabara's healing power. Even so, staying any longer wouldn't be healthy for the now only human member of their team. He looked over at Kuwabara and saw that there was some weakness in his body language. He was standing a bit hunched over, not enough to notice unless you really were staring. He turned his attention off Kuwabara and looked at you.

You were standing and seemed a bit more about yourself. It seemed Itsuki had broke you free from whatever emotional drama you were having while kneeling next to Sensui. He was happy to see you back to normal however, he was curious and concerned at why you had broken down. He assumed it was Sensui thanking you for killing him. However, what Itsuki said had him change his suspicion to another idea. Could you have compassion for the man? And if so, what caused this compassion Whatever the reason was, you were fine now and it was a matter that he could deal with at a later time.

Kuwabara sighed. He couldn't believe it was finally over and was more than happy about it. However, he noticed something, something that wasn't right.

“By the way Urameshi...(YAFF)-chan....do you guys feel any differently?”

Both you and Yusuke turned to Kuwabara blinking at him.

“Different?” you both said at the same time.

You thought about it and thought your head felt heavy.

“Well, my head feels heavy....” Yusuke said.

“Same here...” you said before looking at Yusuke and ACTUALLY looking at him.

His hair was down a little pass his ass! He had strange markings all over his body as well. Your eyes widen as you pointed at him. You couldn't believe you didn't see it before. However, you were more concerned on Sensui and finding out what was going on there.

Yusuke looked at you and pointed at you with wide eyes too.

“(YAFF) your hair! And what's with those tattoos?!”

“ME?! What about YOU with YOUR hair and your tattoos?!”

That's when both of you stopped staring at each other and looked down at yourselves.

“WHAT?!” you both shouted.

You looked at your arms and found the same markings as Yusuke, not just the exact same spots but the same color. You then patted the top of your head and found that it was 'fluffier' than you last remembered it. You pulled lightly on it and followed it all the way down to your ass. However, it wasn't the same color as it was before! It was now a light blue, lighter than Yukina's and Botan's, but not white like Yoko's. It was like a blue tint!

“What in the seven hells?! What happened to my hair?! What's with these tattoos?!” you shouted, feeling yourself up with your hands and spinning as if you were a dog chasing your own tail as you looked at yourself.

Yusuke was doing practically the same thing, just pulling at his hair and looking at how long and shaggy it was.

“What the hell?!” he shouted, looking with wide eyes at his skin.

“Sheesh, guess we DID become demons, eh sis?” Yusuke said, calming down a bit and scratching the back of his head.

You shook your head and blinked down at your hair.

“Seems like it...” you said.

“WAIT!” you shouted, causing everyone to stop and stare at you.

You paused in thought for a moment.

“How do I look with this color hair?” you asked, posing in a cute yet slightly sexy pose with your lips perused and your hand on your hip with a wink of your eye.

Yusuke laughed, while Yoko sweat dropped with a smirk, Koenma stumbled a bit, while Kuwabara deadpanned.

“What? It's a serious question.” you said with a pout.

Yoko laughed and shook his head.

“You look lovely my dear.” he said with a wink and a sweet smile.

You blushed slightly but smiled.

“Really? It doesn't look un-natural?” you asked.

You looked at Kuwabara giving him a cute look, tho not on purpose. You just wanted to know what he thought and you ended up having a cute look that caused Kuwabara to glup and blush a bit. He looked to the side.

“Ummm yeah...you look beautiful.” he said putting his hands in his pockets and glancing back at you with a slight blush still on his cheeks.

You blinked at him. Usually he would laugh at you for a comment like that and just blush or stumble over his words. However, he actually complemented you with a little bit of eye contact. That made you so happy. You felt your heart jump for joy! You grinned and giggled before tackle hugging Kuwabara, who eeped and fell backwards onto the ground. You laughed while you hugged him while being on top of him.

“H-hey! (YAFF)-chan!” he said, his blush even more red than before.

“What?” you said looking down at him as you lifted yourself off him.

You looked down at him with a smile and a joy that made his own heart pound. He gulped before smiling back and pulled you back down into the hug. This time it was YOUR turn to blush.

“K-Kuwa....” you said a bit surprised.

“Yeah...you look great with it.” Kuwabara said, holding you tight.

You didn't know what to say or do. You finally relaxed in his arms and cuddled against his chest. Everyone watched the scene with smiles, snickers, and happiness. Yoko, even though he still loved you, he found that he couldn't compete with Kuwabara. You would never love him the way you loved Kuwabara and it seemed the human finally realized his own feelings for you and was willing to act on them. He couldn't stand in your way, only because it would hurt you. He never wanted to hurt you.

Kurama smiled brightly with in Yoko and was happy Yoko seemed to realize that you were happier with Kuwabara.

Yusuke laughed and smiled. He was happy for you and Kuwabara. It was obvious that Kuwabara was not going to need his help to hook him up with you. He was proud of his best friend for standing up and truly being a man and realizing his feelings. However the laughter and fun turned to silence and seriousness when Yusuke turned back to Yoko.

“But I don't understand. Why did it happen when I was fighting Sensui? Why didn't these markings appear back in the cave?” Yusuke asked.

You pulled back from Kuwabara, letting him sit up; having you sit in his lap.

“Yeah, I didn't understand that either. Tho....” you said thinking back.

“Wait! Could it be from that voice we heard?” you asked, looking at Yusuke.

“You heard it too?!” he said blinking at you.

He then furrowed his eyebrows.

“What?” Kuwabara asked.

“A voice?” Yoko said, narrowing his eyes.

“Yeah.” Yusuke said.

“It happened right before I blacked out. Next thing I remember is standing next to Yusuke when he fired off that reigun blast.” you said.

“Yeah, same here, the blanking out part anyway. That must have been the person who fired it off; whoever that voice was.”

“What do you mean?” asked Kuwabara.

“In my mind before I lost consciousness, I heard a voice. Then the next thing I realized was I fired the blast; before I realized it! But at the moment of firing...I knew a power an order of magnitude beyond mine had done it. Someone else's power, if you get my drift.”

Yoko thought for a moment.

“Yusuke, your ancestor was a class-S and possibly is still alive.”

“Do you think he was the one responsible? For me and Yusuke blanking out?” you asked.

Yoko stopped and thought for a moment.

“Hold up! You mean, there is someone or something STRONGER than YOU? But you're already as powerful as Sensui! And you STILL are! Both you AND (YAFF)-chan!” Kuwabara said, holding you by your waist.

You furrowed your eyebrows in thought. That is true, and you had felt that same power as well.

“I know, but in that moment I was even more powerful.” Yusuke said.

“Same here. I felt a serge of power when I was waking up now that I think about it.” you said, thinking back at when you had came back to your senses.

“Wait...you mean more powerful than yourself and (YAFF)-chan?” Kuwabara said, not knowing what to think if that were true.

“Yeah.” Yusuke said.

“So that means, that this ancestor demon is in this totally out there class?! And he can possibly take control of you and (YAFF)-chan?!” Kuwabara said, his eyes wide.

He didn't know whether to hold you closer or push you off; afraid that the demon would take control of you and Yusuke again. However, you holding his arms around you made him feel stupid for thinking that you would let that demon control you again.

“By underworld ranking yes. Class S is really a kind of catchall category. It's used for demonic variations that lie outside the types the underworld has encountered. The deeper you go into the endless depths of the demon plane, the more variations you find and the less you know about them.” Yoko said.

“Heh heh....okay fine. Can I go now?” laughed a nervous Kuwabara.

He was ready to go home and take a long hot shower and then cuddle with you, even more now then before.

“All right.” Yusuke looking determined.

Everyone looked at him with raised eyebrows. You looked at him, knowing what he was thinking.

“You can't do that Yusuke.” you said, pulling away from Kuwabara's arms and standing up.

You walk up next to Yusuke and put your hand on his shoulder.

“You know I won't let this go!” he said with a growl.

“But what about Keiko and the human world? If you go after him who knows how long it will take you to find him.” You said.

“It doesn't matter. If it takes me years to find him, then so be it. I'm gonna find that sonnava bitch and teach him a lesson on interfering with other people's fights.” Yusuke said, slamming his fist in to his palm.

“Ummmm....what are you talking about?” Kuwabara asked with a sweat drop.

You and Yusuke look around at the group who were confused at what you two were talking about. You snorted and pointed at Yusuke.

“This moron wants to go looking for his ancestor and penalize him for game interference; by kicking his ass.” you said.

“He won't get away with it!” Yusuke said with a serious and determined look in his face.

“Are you nuts?! Let's just get the heck outta here!” Kuwabara said in disbelief.

He couldn't believe Yusuke was still willing to fight after everything that had happened.

“Yusuke...”

Everyone turned to Koenma who had been mostly silent this entire time.

“I'm not sure you fully grasp the situation. (YLN)-san was right to say you have no time for that. As we speak, the defense squad is closing the portal. They should be down in about two days.” Koenma said.

Yusuke looked at him not sure where Koenma was going at.

“Once its closed, that's it. You'll have no way back to the human world. If you want to spend your life fighting, the demon plane is the perfect place for it.” Koenma said.

You looked at Yusuke with a grim look. Kuwabara looked on in anticipation as did Yoko.

“You have 40 hours to decide then that's it. You won't have another chance. Whatever you chose will be final.” Koenma said with a serious face.

Yusuke looked just as serious.

“I don't need 40 hours.” he said.

Koenma looked at Yusuke not sure what the man had decided.

“The demon plane is interesting...” Yusuke said before turning a calmer look towards the sky.

“But I perfer my action in the human world.” Yusuke said with a smile.

He turned back to the prince of the underworld with a goofy smile. You laughed and jumped at him. He caught you and he spun you around as the two of you laughed.

“I knew you wouldn't chose to stay!” you laughed.

“Yeah right!” Yusuke said putting you down and winking at you.

You laughed as you looked up at him. Everyone smiled at the two of you, relief and joy of finally going home.

“Hey look who's back!”

You walked out of the cave with Kuwabara, Yusuke, Kurama who turned back to his old self once they left the demon plane; Koenma, and a still sleeping Hiei on Puu's back.

You smiled to see Botan, who had shouted that; was waiting with Genkai, Mitari, Amanuma (alive and well), Kaito, and Yanagisawa. They were all smiling until they got a good look at you and Yusuke.

“What's with the hair dude? Cool tattoos (YAFF)-san...” Yanagisawa said.

“Its a long story. Now pay up!” Yusuke said with a grin.

“Did you have a bet or something?” you said with a raised eye brow.

Yanagisawa laughed and scratched the back of his head.

“Lord Koenma.”

You all stopped and turned around. There at the mouth of the cave was the captain with his team.

“The underworld will take a dim view of your actions.” the captain said with a cold look towards Koenma.

“I know and I'll accept the consequences.” Koenma said looking tall and proud.

Both you and Yusuke turned towards the team who stiffen and looked scared at the two of you. The captain gulped involuntary at Yusuke.

“I don't fight lame opponents unless they ASK for it.” Yusuke said with a glare.

“I don't suggest you do either.” you added.

“Koenma acted in order to close that damn hole. If the underworld decides to punish him for that, I guarantee...” Yusuke said with narrow eyes. “I'll return the favor.”

“In spades.” you added, cracking your knuckles and your neck.

The captain epped in fear before he and his team disappeared quickly into the sky.

“So much for that.” Yusuke said with a grin.

“That's right, run!” you said with a grin and sticking your tongue out.

“Awright! Let's go home!” Kuwabara shouted with a big sigh of relief.

“I feel like we've been fighting for a year.” he added with another sigh.

“That sound familiar....” Yusuke said with a chuckle.

You smiled. You were happy it was finally over. You hoped that this was it, that there wouldn't be anything else for a while. You had heard there was another season after the Sensui saga, however you weren't sure what it was about and how long it would take place after this. You felt someone wrap there arms around your should. You looked up at Kuwabara who smiled down at you.

“Let's go home.” he said.

You smiled and nodded.

You would have to worry about that later. Right now, you were tired and had Kuwabara's bed calling you, not to mention his shower.
