Scene 6 ------------------------------------------- Gandera
* Mukakai answers the quiet knock on his door to let Youda in. The short demon scowls up at him.
Youda- You look like h---.. Did you sleep at all last night?
Mukakai- No, not that it's any concern of yours.. Is there a problem, sir?
Youda- No, I'm just getting ready to go meet with Shura.. I need you to do something.. if you're up to it..
Mukakai- Like what?
Youda- Wait until I'm in the creation's room, then think up some reason to come call the brat away.. I'll need a few moments to observe the child alone.
* Mukakai rubs his chin a moment, then sighs and shrugs.
Mukakai- Sure, whatever.
* Youda watches the general turn back to the stove in his small kitchen to take the kettle of water off the burner.
Youda- We don't have the leisure of allowing sentiment to interfere with what must be done to fulfill destiny.
* Mukakai glances a glare at Youda.
Mukakai- Destiny (Huffs angrily). What if the child has a destiny?
Youda- I understand that you feel we should allow this.. thing.. to live..
Mukakai- You allowed the.. thing.. you created to live. That's why we're all in this mess.
Youda- Shura was not created to be like this! I'm not going to stand here disputing this with you any longer.. Will you do as I asked?
* Mukakai turns the stove off then turns rubbing the bridge of his nose.
Mukakai- Forgive me, Master Youda, I didn't get much sleep last night.. Hai, I will think of something to draw the brat out.
* Youda nods and lives, making sure that his visit hasn't been noticed too much by anyone that might be passing by. Luckily, the street is deserted this early.
