Chapter 7

Once Heated
A week passed since his first mission and Miki lay in his room at the temple writhing and sweaty. �Uhhn�so hot��

�I�m so worried now�� she stood and fumbled with the keys.
Taking the keys from Yukina, Kurama cracked the lock and busted the door open. �MIKI!� he shouted. As soon as he

Yukina checked the window but it was locked. �There�s no way he could have gotten out.�

�Huh?� Yukina looked back at Kurama.
�Mamoru�The vampire lord�he came and took Miki.� Kurama growled and bashed the wall.

Hiei had sensed the intrusion and even though he was too late stopping the Vamp from taking Miki he was able to

Crawling away, frightened of this side of Hiei. Miki cowered in a corner and watched through his fingers. He

Hiei summoned a length of black fire and turned the Shadowy Mamoru into cinders. When he was sure the vamp was
dead he looked at Miki. ��
