I am a horrible reader. Goodness. I started reading this story so long ago, and for some odd, unknown reason I stopped writing fanfiction, and therefore stopped reading it and using this site, and I hate myself for it a little bit because I miss out on fabulous stories like this that have come to a conclusion! I really, absolutely love this story. It was fabulous in every way.

In about five hours I need to get up and go to school, but school was far less important tonight than actually completing my reading of this. It pulled me in and took my heart and while I'm re-reading the manga, this is really how it should have gone. Maybe it's just me and thinking that the series had far too little boy on boy on boy sex in it, but I really quite enjoyed re-reading this from beginning to end.

So, I just thought I'd stop in and apologize for disappearing from being a faithful reviewing, and tell you how much I aboslutely enjoyed this story and how glad I am that I came back and found it and that I got to read all of it. And that you completed it. It's wonderful and dedicated, and basically you're like my hero right now and I'm ranting and groveling at your feet.

I bow to you, wonderful fanfiction author who hold my heart.

I don't know what you're smoking but that threesome was the sickest thing I've read in awhile. I loved every minute of it, especially since they had to be quiet throughout the whole thing. Poor Kuwabara...

And just the was you wrapped everything up. Had Yusuke come back to resolve things with Keiko, had him visiting his mother's grave, had Yukina and Hiei talking. I loved it all. You really wrote something epic here. You remade the show and made it better. NICE.

Absolutely loved this story. It is and will always be one of my favorites. When I think about rereading a story, this one pops to mind. I liked the way you ended it too. Was very nice. ^.^

I loved it! Especially the ending, you can never go wrong with sex and plants. Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei are so hot together. I can't wait to read what you write next. Ja Ne!

Thanks for the acknowledgement my dear. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I finally worked up the courage to read the final chapter and mark this fic as done in my yaoi book. *where I keep record of all the great stories worthy of being read again in the future* Its so sad to see it completed but it was a good place to end it. You really did some awesome work on this fic. The characterization, descriptions, plot and of course character growth was perfect. Not to mention the lemons were hot as hell. *snickers*

Wow. That was...I don't even have words to describe. I can't imagine a better ending for this story. And you have once again given me the best lemon with plants. I'll probably read that part alone a hundred times. I'm so sad to see this end but at the same time I can't wait to see what you do next.

It's over ;_; .... But oh my gosh it ended with a bang!!! Lol it took me like an hour to read it all, but it seems like waaaay less because I was so into it! I really really liked the flow of this last chapters plot. There was a time jump, but it was hinted at seeing as how Yusuke was laid up in bed after another tournament so the reader got to have a "eureka" moment when it dawned on them that yes, we be in the future~ Lol I love little things like that, where the writer gives clues as to what is going on and instead of just telling the reader what is going on, they trust the reader enough to come to an understanding. You have done that throughout this story, which is probably why I love and adore you so much, because you trust in your audience.

Then there was the whole reunion part, before Yusuke and Kurama showed up. I thought that was extremely well written and really set up the mood for when Y + K actually made it on to the scene.I adored how you incorporated the last episode of the anime with this part of the fic =) It made me happy inside, and now I'm tempted to re-watch the entire anime from start to finish again. And kudos for Keiko! I liked how she had a beau of her own and could still love all over Yusuke (platonically of course) and torment him at the same time ( Are there markings on his genitalia? I don't remember! Maybe i should re-read all the lemons to find out =D ).

I Laughed at Kuwabara, lol it was bound to happen again, he's just to sensitive spirit wise, and speaking of which... THAT LEMON WAS EPIC!!! OMG DOUBLE PENETRATION!!! Spiced up with a sprinkling of bondage and voyeurism!! I Love how Kurama was trying to cool Yusuke down and ended up making both of them even more hot and bothered. What a backfired plan xD But it was great! Oh! Lol i also loved how they, K + H, woke our poor recuperating Yusuke with their lovemaking in the same bed he was supposed to be resting in xD Lol Bastards indeed! I was kinda hoping they would help him out by some fondling or oral pleasuring... lol ah well.

Ok, i keep looking back and forth at your last A/N and wondering if I've sufficiently covered most topics. The title really does match this fic and I believe you have completely succeeded in your goal of following Yusuke's growth and development after the dark tournament. You already know what I think of your writing style, but if i must reiterate, i will do o by saying that you NEED to start writing another fic ,preferably soon, because now that this one is complete, that is one less fic I can wait patiently on (or.. semi-patiently with constant peeks onto the site for possible updates every week) knowing that once an update is posted that i will in fact be utterly blown away and left in a puddle of satisfied goop. I long for more! You've gotten me addicted now take responsibility and feed into my addiction! D= I need it!! Lol

I know i've re=read this story a few times in the 2 years you've been working on it and it is utterly amazing, plot and all. I'm glad my previous reviews have made your nights! hopefully this one will do the same =D!! Thank you for this piece of brilliance!!! You make fangirls like me very very happy =D ~Love ya! Kei-chan

I just wanted to say that there are very few people (even on AFF) who actually write the nitty grittiness of sex. I think you are the first person, as far as I've read, who has actually mentioned cum coming out of orifices! And Hiei was even nice enough to help clean it up, just like a caring lover would! Jesus! I've been waiting for someone to write about real sex lol - not this, "and he touched his special no no place that you should never touch unless you are married to them." Okay, I'm exaggerating, but still! I appreciate the fact that you have caring moments but also show the true side of sex. Growth of a Spirit Detective was by far one of the best fics I have read. It was well written and very fluid. Thank you so much for sticking to it to the very end. I wasn't disappointed at all! Bravo! :D

my god... the end.... its over.... i cant believe it... sigh.... AS 4 the title... it couldnt have been more perfectly picked... I just.... oh god i loved the whole ride, and the only thing i can say is, I order u to write another yummy threesome!!!! lol. But yes this story was to perfect for words. and I hate that its ending. I know I dont really know u but with the end of the story it also feels like im losing a friend in the process :( like i lost a link that feels like its been here a long time... and i guess the 2 year period would explain that lol. REALLY? its REALLY been 2 years? Man how the time flies. Well I tend to delete a writer from my favs list once the story ends but I think Im just gonna leave u on it ;) not only am i sure im gonna come back and reread it, but hopefuly i will see another amazing story posted by u in the near future. U know it sucks u cant just copy and save the story to ur computer so u have it save 4 like all times anymore :P Well I guess this is the last review Im ever gonna leave 4 this story... again it feels so wrong lol. everyone grew in this story... and yet im just as childish as always sitting here whining that its the end all over again... and my final party words??? Yep always blame the york peppermint patties ;) lol... Great job ^.^

Loved the drawn out fight! I can see Yusuke doing that just for shits and giggles. Hiei embarassed! That's a first. LOL. Kurama was ridiculously sneaky on that one. I approve! Can't wait for the epilogue! Hopefully it's soon! Also, appreciate the complete and utter sexiness. Fans self.
