Chapter 7: A Celebration of a Special Occasion

Later that same day, the newly mated pair confronted Kurama about what he had witnessed. "So how much did you watch, Fox?" Hiei asked as he backed Kurama into the laundry room. "I don�t think that lying is a good idea either, do you?" Kurama�s bright green eyes went wide as he tried to formulate an answer.

"I didn�t see much." He said. I watched as your energies entwined and left soon after." Hiei snorted at that. He knew Kurama too well to know that was all that he watched. "Okay, I watched you mate to him." Hiei raised his katana allowing the point to rest against Kurama�s neck. "Alright, I watched everything!" Kurama said quickly. Hiei hid his smile, now that sounded more like the perverted fox he knew. He enjoyed making the Kitsune squirm

"Did you enjoy watching us?" Hiei asked, however Kurama was saved from answering by Yukina. Hiei smiled at what Yukina said until it dropped. "Yusuke, we have to get ready. It seems that Kuwabara is pushing the boat out thanks to what Yukina told him." Hiei said. "Kuwabara is having a celebratory dinner and we are all invited to attend." He glared at Kurama. "You speak a single word of what you saw and I shall make short work of slicing and dicing you, understand?" Kurama only nodded. "Good, I would hate to have to disembowel a friend." He said as he left the room, Yusuke following him into their room, watching as Hiei looked through the clothing that Yusuke had bought him, and Yusuke approached him, wrapping his arms around the delectable apparition�s body, kissing the mating mark, feeling Hiei�s immediate reaction.

"My darling Hiei." Yusuke mumbled in his ear. "I love holding you in my arms. You fit so wonderfully." Hiei smiled as he turned in Yusuke�s arms, leaning against Yusuke, feeling his love�s body against his, and a flicker of passion flared between them, each feeding off the other. Yusuke held Hiei tightly to him, smelling the scent that was uniquely Hiei�s. He felt that as long as he had Hiei that he�d be unstoppable, and Hiei, feeling the proud emotions in his mate smiled, knowing how much he was cherished. He had no doubts about Yusuke�s feelings, not when he was bathed in them all the time.

"You give me so much to call my own, Yusuke." Hiei said as he kissed Yusuke�s bare chest. "You have given me a home, children and most importantly you." He said, sharing a rare, spoken, tender moment. Yusuke had finally begun to heal the deep wounds that Hiei had felt over the years, the pain of rejection, was now like a distant nightmare. Yusuke would never reject him, not now and not ever. He loved the feelings that Yusuke always brought out in him. He pulled Yusuke�s head down, brushing his lips so gently with his fingers before kissing him.

It didn�t take long for the kiss to become more passionate , and they found themselves on the bed. Together, they lay, for what felt like hours. Loving the company the other gave, not everything with them revolved about who would be the seme after all. Hiei laid his head on Yusuke�s chest, the past tantalising him. He was wonderful, magnificent even, so long ago when they first met. He was the first person that trusted him, cared for him, loved him. Yusuke lightly brushed his mind, and Hiei allowed the touch, Yusuke would become even more big headed, but that was a small price to pay. Yusuke was his mate forever and for always. "Come along, Yusuke, we still need to get ready to go to Kuwabara�s, don�t we?" Hiei said, finally pulling away. "Come on, Detective." He said as he pulled Yusuke to his feet. He knew that Yusuke would rather be doing something other than getting dressed, but Kuwabara was throwing a party and he would be damned if he let the oaf have something else to tease them over.

Yusuke complied with Hiei�s wishes, however he felt strange. He pushed the feeling aside, for now his beloved mate was right; they still had to change to go to Kuwabara�s. Yusuke chose a pair of loose, black, pants with a white t-shirt. He didn�t feel like dressing up totally, and anyway it was just to Kuwabara�s. He watched as Hiei took more time to dress, and couldn�t help but laugh. "What is so funny, Yusuke?" Hiei asked as he faced Yusuke, who was still laughing.

"I think you�re definitely the wife." Yusuke said between laughs. "You spend so long picking the perfect outfit." He started laughing again. "Maybe you should consider going shopping with Keiko, she�d give you all sorts of fashion tips." Yusuke easily avoided the playful slap thrown in his direction. Half an hour of waiting proved to be worth it as Hiei finally revealed the outfit that he had chosen, an outfit not that dissimilar to what Yusuke was wearing, yet looked wonderfully flattering on his body. If Hiei wasn�t with Yusuke, Yusuke would have been envious of the guy who �owned� the apparition. Running his hands possessively over his mate�s body, he started licking Hiei�s neck, gaining appreciative moans for his effort. Both knew what the other desired, what the other needed, and yet they stored the burning desire for later, when it would be better utilised. However for now they had to keep their desire under control.

Leaving the room they saw that the others were waiting for them, including the twins, one in Yukina�s arms and the other in Kurama�s. "Ready?" Yukina asked as she looked both of them over. Technically this was Yusuke and Hiei�s first outing with their twins. Something that they should be enjoying as a family. As though he read her mind, Hiei lifted Kaiya from her aunt�s arms, holding the giggling girl against him, he felt her giving him a hug and couldn�t help but grin at Yusuke. It was times like these that he was glad to have his children. They had seemed to have calmed down his whole view on life. Manoeuvring Kaiya to one hip, he watched Yusuke take their son from Kurama and hold him with equal care, they were quite the family.

He knew that he and Yusuke weren�t spending as much time with their children as they should, however he swore that it was going to change. He had decided that shortly they would return home, that they would return to Makai. The twins needed to know that Ningenkai wasn�t the place that they had to call home. They were demons, no matter what being born in the world of humans meant. He would have to have the discussion with Yusuke later. However it was time for the meal that he doubted Kuwabara would have prepared without help. He could knew that Kuwabara could burn water if he thought about doing it. "We�re ready now." Hiei said as he steadied Kaiya who was trying to get to Yasuo. "Now, now Kaiya." Hiei said to the wriggling infant. "I may drop you by accident if you keep wriggling like that." He said harshly, the tone making Kaiya stop. He then looked to Yasuo and saw him holding two bears and sticking out his tongue at his sister. So that was why she was trying to get to her twin. He was teasing her. "Just ignore him, Kaiya." Hiei said trying to think of a punishment. "When we get home, he won�t get the treat that we bought you both." Yusuke stared at the apparition, who had seemingly managed to calm down their daughter.

"Yasuo, it looks like you�re in trouble when we get home." He said to the boy he held, getting a very Hiei-like glare from his son. "Blame yourself. I have told you plenty of times in the past not to tease your sister." Yusuke said. Yasuo was like a mix between himself and Hiei, mostly himself� Yasuo has a habit of forgetting all the rules and doing what he wanted instead of doing what was told, a lot like Yusuke when he was younger. He took Kaiya�s silver bear from Yasuo and gave it back to his daughter, who smiled broadly.

"Thank you, Papa!" She squealed as she hugged the bear tightly to her little body. She gave a lovely smile as she nuzzled against Hiei. "Mama, kiss Ai!" She said, leaving Hiei no choice but to do so. The children had picked up on the �Mama� from Yusuke�s teasing, not that he minded too much, he was their mother after all. However it was embarrassing to hear one of the twins run up to him yelling �Mama� or �Mummy� when everyone could see that he wasn�t female. "We going to see Uncle Kazuma?" She asked. Hiei groaned. He knew that although Kuwabara wasn�t exactly his favourite person, however he always had treats for the twins.

"Of course, we were invited to his for dinner." Hiei said as he kissed his daughter�s forehead. He loved his little family. So what if the Koorime never accepted him, it didn�t mean that he wouldn�t accept them. His sister and now his daughter were members of a race that hated him. Kaiya felt her mother tense under her touch and asked Hiei why he had stopped speaking. "It is just a memory, Kaiya, it�s nothing for you to worry about.." He said as she relaxed in his arms once again. Yukina looked at Hiei, having a good guess what his thoughts were about. She knew that the horrors that Hiei had experienced in the past were plaguing his mind. The ghost of the Koorime would never leave Hiei�s heart, even after a thousand years.

They walked to Kuwabara�s house and the smell of ramen cooking was delightful, although the group was sure that someone was helping Kuwabara out. They soon got the answer when they knocked on the door and Shizuru answered. "Oh, you�re a little early." She said as she let them enter. "Kazuma is still trying to get the ramen edible." She went into the kitchen and heard a few shouts and a bang before she left the room and lit a cigarette before seeing the twins and stubbed it out. "At least you will get food." She said as she walked through to the living room. I hope that you can forgive my bother�s inability� I am trying to teach him but I think it�s forgotten as soon as I tell him." She said as she brought out the two pads of paper that the twins used for drawing and the packets of pencils and gave them to the twins, who immediately set to work to draw their pictures. "On the other hand the twins are very intelligent. I have never seen such pictures from children only a few months old." Both twins looked up and smiled.
After a few hours Kuwabara finally managed to cook ramen to Shizuru�s satisfaction and the group finally sat down to eat. By then Hiei had caught a strange scent mixed in with Yusuke�s usual one. Quite a tantalising one at that, quite seductive actually. He felt a hand caress his thigh, working up towards his crotch and trembled. What was Yusuke up to? Surely he didn�t want to be taken in front of the others and their children. Yusuke stood up and motioned for Hiei to follow him in a little while. "I fear that I need the toilet. I�ll be back before you know it." With a wink he left the room.
After 10 minutes passed and no sign of Yusuke returning, Hiei stood up. "Trust the detective to get lost going in a straight line." He said. "I�ll find him and bring him back." Hiei left before the others could stop him. Hiei walked along the corridor, using the scent as a guide, and stopped in front of the door and opened it to see Yusuke one the bed, naked, preparing himself to be taken by his mate. Hiei approached the bed and noticed that the scent was stronger now, and it didn�t take long for his clothing to be thrown off and join Yusuke on the bed. He removed Yusuke�s fingers and without further warning he pressed his erection through the tight ring into Yusuke�s willing body. The tight heat was even more maddening than normal because of Yusuke�s exquisite scent. There was no doubt in Hiei�s mind now. Yusuke Urameshi was in heat.

Anyway there was nothing that he could do now, but sate the desires of his body and sow his seed deep within his mate�s willing body, to make him bear his young like his body was prepared to do. With a moan he felt Yusuke press back against him, urging him to go in deeper. "Yusuke Urameshi, I swear that you�ll be the death of me." He growled as he started thrusting into the welcoming depths. "However I�ll die happy. Shameless hussy." He said lovingly as Yusuke moved with him. Yusuke was too interested in the pleasure that he was having to acknowledge anything said by the fire apparition. Hiei felt so good inside him, the movement seemed to soothe his raging hormones.

"Harder! Faster!" He whimpered to the apparition servicing his needs. Who was Hiei to complain and it didn�t take long for Yusuke to cry out in release as his first orgasm rocked his body, squeezing the hard length within his body. Both the mental and physical sensations pushed Hiei over the edge as he felt each pulse of his sheathed member shoot shot after shot of his seed into Yusuke�s body. He leaned over his mate, regaining his breath. He knew some information about Toushin heats, the most memorable fact being that the heat didn�t end until the Toushin was impregnated. The change was shown by the unusual scent changing back to normal, and the Toushin becoming totally disinterested in sex. That bit of Yusuke�s pregnancy was something Hiei wasn�t looking forward to experiencing.
The rest of the group were patiently waiting for them to return. Already an hour had passed and there was still no sign of them returning, and Kurama had an idea why. He had caught the slight change in Yusuke�s scent and had a good idea what the change meant. It seemed that Yasuo and Kaiya were going to be having siblings on the way. "I�ll look for them." He said, having a good idea where to start his search, however before he left the room, Hiei and Yusuke returned. Both were carrying carrying smug expressions and without the strange scent that Yusuke had been emitting. Kurama raised an eyebrow before sitting back down. The only question in Kurama�s mind now was how many of a litter Yusuke was going to bear.
One by one, the group left, leaving Kuwabara and Shizuru�s for their respective homes. "I�m off to bed, see you tomorrow sis!" Kuwabara shouted as he closed the door to his bedroom before turning on the light. When he did, the sight that greeted the room�s occupant made Kuwabara scream. His newly tidied room was in an utter mess. It looked as though somebody had been playing with some kind of cream until he had a closer look. "What sick bastard�" He then paused before remembering the smug expressions on his friends� faces. "You pair of fucking whores!"

Panting, Kuwabara gave up on the rantfest and set about cleaning the mess. All the time chanting that he would get his revenge on the two demons. Once he cleaned his room he collapsed on his bed exhausted.
Hiei pulled Yusuke into his arms, pulling his head down for a kiss. "How are you feeling, my Detective?" He asked, pushing Yusuke towards the bed as he shut the door. He watched as Yusuke sprawled out on their bed, a small smile playing on his lips. The sight was exceedingly erotic to the hybrid and he knew that to keep his sanity he had to look away. He knew that at he moment his will was weak, weak enough that his lustful desire could over run it. Instead he chose to join Yusuke on the bed, laying his head on Yusuke�s chest, feeling Yusuke�s fingers running through his hair.

Yusuke looked down at the apparition, wondering what Hiei was trying to say. "I feel fine, Hiei." Yusuke replied as his free hand touched his belly. Although it was too soon to tell how many children he carried, and that at the moment they had only just become fertilised by his mate, they were his� theirs. "Why do you ask, Hiei?" He asked as Hiei�s hand covered his.

"I want to go back to Makai." Hiei said simply. "I want you, the twins and the ones you carry to call Makai their home." Hiei looked up and his eyes met Yusuke�s. "Also I don�t know how pregnancy will affect you. You are half human, there may be complications because male humans cannot carry children." Yusuke could see the worry in Hiei�s eyes. Already Hiei was thinking about possible problems. "How will you explain to ningen doctors how you got pregnant, much less that you know that there�s something wrong?" Yusuke couldn�t fault the logic that Hiei showed. It was quite a problem indeed.

"Very well, Hiei." Yusuke said. "I see that you have thought this through thoroughly and I cannot fault what you say." He knew that Hiei was right, that he always would be. He knew that it would be safer for him to be there. "We need to tell the others, to let the twins get used to the idea and to say our goodbyes." Yusuke yawned. "Either way I�m exhausted and I wouldn�t mind some sleep." Hiei watched Yusuke as he started to sleep. It felt as though Yusuke was changing right before his eyes. He knew that Yusuke�s body was changing to support the new lives that he would be carrying. Tomorrow was a new day and he would have to have a chat with his mate about their future, and the future of their offspring.
